Today we went in for a twelve weeks scan early because I was leaking something the day before, we went in and we couldn't hardly make out the baby, I had leaked amniotic fluid. My question is can the amniotic fluid sack repair?

They said they would book us in for a 3d scan on Wednesday just can't settle at all just have to wait and see but thank you for your reply it means alot x

Yes, it can heal itself.

This is something your doctor should really answer but yes, often tears in the sack can heal. The sack has 2 layers which can move and seal holes. The fluid is also able to replenish. Best to rest and make sure you are getting enough fluids. Hope everything goes ok Wednesday for you! I am keeping my fingers crossed all is well!

What the other said, yes it can repair. Definitely rest and fluids as much as possible!
