  • 1. My husband works very hard for our family and this far has allowed me to stay home with our daughter.

    2. DD and her health. We had some questions about her spinal cord early on and while we aren't out of the woods, she is blowing me away in terms of development.

    3. My parents and in-laws. They'd do anything if asked for our family.

    4. The military "family" we have here. It makes holidays away from home easier.

    5. This J16 baby. We are so not ready for the little beastie, but I know it's a blessing at the end of the day.

  • 1. My amazing husband, I don't know how I managed to find and fall in love with someone perfect for me!

    2. My furbaby! He's such a good dog, and I can't wait for him to meet his baby brother/sister!!

    3. That my husband and j are blessed to be able to both have careers we love! Fireman/teacher combo here.

    4. My family. I was raised to be a strong and caring individual, I'm grateful for that.

    5. I'm so grateful to be pregnant!
  • 1. My husband. He has been 10000% supportive of me and my laziness, queasiness, and all around blahness. He does everything he can to make me smile.

    2. My family and in-laws. I couldn't ask for better. They're amazing.

    3. Having a home to go to, with electricity and a/c/heat.

    4. Having a good paying job that allows me to not worry so much about finances.

    5. The little midi-chlorian inside me :)
  • 1. DH - his continued support for anything and everything makes life so much easier

    2. My parents and DH's parents. They are our rocks.

    3. Friends (esp my work ones) who make me laugh every day

  • 1) I'm thankful we have a wonderful family that is supportive of us and excited that we are having a baby.

    2) I'm thankful that I'm healthy. A friend of ours is in her early 20's and battling cancer and just found out it has relapsed after spending most of last year going through chemo and radiation. I'm thankful that I have taken care of my body in the past few years and started running and eating well.

    3) I'm thankful that I have a great job that helps to support my family and provides me so much satisfaction. Nursing is very difficult but when the person does well or you help them leave this world the way they wanted to, there is no greater joy.

    4) Some people may not agree with this one but I'm thankful to be an American. DH and I have travelled a lot and I know there are some awesome places in the world but the fact that we have an American passport means we're able to go to many places and we have a lot of luxuries others do not.

    5) I'm thankful for this pregnancy today. We've lost a few members over the past few weeks and while sometimes I can't bear to read those threads, it really just makes me grateful for the here and now.

  • 1. My DH who has always been supportive of me but seems even more so now. I'm so thankful to be in a loving relationship, especially now.

    2. My doggy, who makes me happy every single day even when she's being a pain in the ass.

    3. Our little bean, who I'm already completely obsessed with. I spend so much time fantasizing about her and wondering who she'll grow to be.

    4. Good health!

    5. Friends and family.

  • 1. Like so many of you, my husband.  He is incredible and I am so lucky to have him.  He has stuck by my side through some very low times and has been steadfast in his love and support.  I never knew a man like him was real.

    2. The children and families I work with.  I work with children with Autism, and every day I am blown away by the love and fierce protection of their parents and the growth my kiddos make.  They are some of the cutest and funniest people I know!

    3. My dog.  I adopted him when I first moved away from home.  He's big and fluffy and just awesome.  He sits next to the toilet when I'm getting sick even though he's terrified of the bathroom.

    4. My parents.  They are so supportive.  I feel so lucky to have them in my life and can't wait to tell them today!

    5. My home.  We bought our house in April and it's been an adventure.  I'm thankful for a space that we can make our own and have a roof over our heads.

    1. My husband, first and above all else. Every day, especially now, he surprises and amazes me and makes me feel so confident in having promised to love him for the rest of my life. I am beyond grateful for everything he is and all that he does and for the insane fact that he chose me and every day continues to do so.

    2. My mom. I talked to her on the phone for an hour yesterday and wish I could do that every day. She's starting chemo next week and I know our time is running short. I'm grateful for every moment with her and wish I would have been sooner.

    3. The seamonkey! Our strong little bug who I can't wait to watch grow. Sharing a body with me isn't going to be the quietest ride, but I am doing my best and I've made space for you in my heart. I'm grateful we have you and hope you can love us and all our flaws as we intend to love you and yours.

    4. Our home. I'm so grateful we have this place! I love the fenced yard and the fireplace and the soaking tub and the vaulted ceilings and the loft area and the pond behind us and all the wildlife we get to see there! As much as I complain about the neighbors they're nice people who keep this place nice. I can't wait to have a family here.

    5. My career. I have an art degree for Christ's sake. The fact that I moved over into the tech industry and developed niche skills and then just happened to get hired by a major TV network... I'm beyond grateful. The company treats us so well. And being the breadwinner is easy when the job is flexible with lots of perks. It affords us our house and our life and I am so grateful to have it. I think it'll be a good place to have kids.
  • 1. This baby, of course. We've been praying hard for a little one and after 2.5 years of trying and 4 losses, I'm just thankful for another chance! This nugget is so far very healthy and growing normally, and is making momma sicker than any of the others, so I have a lot of hope!

    2. My hubs. That man is just the biggest blessing ever. Sometimes it's still weird to think I'm actually married to the dorky 16 year old I started dating 8 years ago. He's so smart and loyal and goofy.

    3. My church family. They keep me focused on the Lord even in the hard times and love me so well. They would literally drop everything just to take care of anyone. Just the best friends and people out there.

    4. My family. Love them to pieces. They are so supportive and loving always. Also so glad to have in-laws that have made me feel like their own daughter and have been such great friends to my family as well. Love grows.

    5. My students. They are awesome and keep me in check every day. Some days I really don't want to be at school, but then they remind me why I'm there. They push me to be a better person.

  • 1. My husband. I haven't seen him much this week because he's been working later than normal (he's a chef) and I'm in bed and passed out before he gets home. We were able to talk last night and I really needed that. He's so awesome and I love him so much... ::tears::

    2. My family. I don't get to be with them for Thanksgiving this year (we rotate being on call for holidays and I drew Thanksgiving) but they are really awesome and supportive and allow me to be me even when I'm doing things they aren't sure about (like moving 10 hours away to New Orleans. I can't wait to share our news with them - they will be so happy!

    3. My job. I have a great job and great coworkers.

    4. But I'm also thankful for a 5 day weekend. I need the time to catch up on my rest.

    5. And finally, our friends. They are the family that we built and they stand beside us through good and bad. I can't imagine being here without them. <3

And of course, I'm thankful for my little blueberry :)

  • My H. We have been together for 11yrs and he still gives me butterflies. He's my rock and works so hard for our family.

My boys. These three naughty little boys drive me crazy and keep me on my toes constantly. It's always an adventure and I couldn't imagine my life any other way.

I am extremely thankful for our health. This year has been rough in terms small illnesses since my old started school. But compared to some, we are so healthy.

I hope this doesn't come off wrong, but I am extremely thankful for this LO, though not exactly planned, and my fertility. My sister is 30 and has always wanted kids. Next month she is going in for a hysterectomy due to endometriosis so that dream for her is gone. That paired with all the IF stories from here and my other boards makes me extremely grateful for what I have. It kills me that others have to go through so much.

I had a completely different life for myself imagined when I was in high school and college. I am so thankful for the way everything turned out. My life is far from perfect but I love it!

    1) My little one's dad. He's really come around with the news of becoming a father and is actually very excited!! I'm so thankful that he's not bailing or running away, given our circumstances. I feel so blessed when it comes to that.

    2) My awesome family! They're so supportive and I couldn't ask for a better family a raise a child in. :)

    3) My super supportive friends!! Esp those who I confided in when I found out I was pregnant with this unexpected little angel. They made me feel tough and that I could handle it, no matter what the circumstances are.

    4) Super thankful for my job and employer, which provides me with killer insurance and enough money to provide for myself and the munchkin. :)

    5) And finally, for my little munchkin to be! Although you came into my life at an extremely unexpected time, I wouldn't have it any other way, and I'm thankful for you coming into my life. :D
