Yes, yes, I'm thinking ahead:-)

Lynn represents both grandmas, my husband's died of cancer 10+ yrs ago. It'd be special to be able to use Lynn as a MN. I wish we'd named DD Sophie Lynn instead of Sophie Grace bc Lynn doesn't sound right with most names or combines with them ie: Emma Lynn sounds like Emmilyn and I don't want that.

Ideas?

I agree, Lynn pretty much goes with anything, though I would avoid names that have lynn/line variants. (The already mentioned Emma, carol, Ada, etc)

Yeah Lynn is pretty much a standard mn. My mn is Lyn (somewhere my mom lost an N), and I have considered passing it down to a daughter someday, except my favorite name is Brooke and I don't want a Brooke Lyn. I agree Emma Lynne doesn't work but do you have any other first names on your list?

Lynn was a supper popular middle name in the 90's so many of my friends have it as a middle name. It matches well with just about anything.

I love your idea of Evelyn much better than the middle name Lynn. My name is Jamie and everyone always called me Jamie Lynn and I hated it because that was not my middle name but because of Jamie Lynn Spears I guess everyone thought it should be my middle name.
