really strange sympton?? or normal???

in 1st Trimester
I have no idea how to search for this so I apologize in advance if this has already been brought up...
So i keep getting these almost shocking feelings that run from the left side of my vagina towards my a-hole..
I've googled different ways to search it and I don't find anything...
I am seeing my doc for my mid 12 week appt tomorrow.. but was just wondering if anyone has had something similar???

    Look up lightning crotch to see if that is what you may be experiencing. However I didn't start feeling that until I hit my second tri but you could be different.

    Lightning crotch FTW. At least that's what also came to my mind. As a ftm I didn't have that feeling till 2nd tri, subsequent pregnancies it's been sooner with each one.

    Thank you!!!! I can finally put a name to it!!! And yes... what the ladies are saying in other forums sounds exactly what I am feeling.. its only on left side.. so maybe something is pressing on a nerve?? who knows... thanks for your help!!

    sure as hell sounds like it..... thank you for your help!! I will def ask the doc about it tomorrow tho!!

    @fourtsixand2 I also giggle at it but that's the only thing I've heard it called and it's a pretty perfect explanation. I will say, seeing the look on my husband's face the 1st time I said it to him was extremely funny ;)
