I side-eye people who constantly post or brag about their significant others, and their life in general, on Facebook. IMO, if you feel the need to constantly brag about your SO or your life, it probably isn't all that great behind the scenes. I guess I never understood the need to post daily on Facebook anyway. Whatevs.

^^ This! I've stopped following people for this reason. I mean, good for you? I also hate when people check in EVERYWHERE. I even saw a girl check in the OB/GYN. I mean, did we really need to know that? Or when they check in at their work all the time. Who cares?
My UO is that I don't get all the fuss over Frozen...still. Maybe it's because I saw it on a plane and I was distracted, but I've seen better Disney films. Was it like this when Beauty and the Beast or Aladdin came out? Two years after the release and they're still producing tons of merchandise? Maybe that's normal and I just don't remember.

I think Chanel perfume smells God awful. I love the fruity scents at Victoria Secret, and I don't care if that means I smell like a middle school girl. But seriously, if you wear Chanel, you smell like a toilet bowl freshener.
I know I am an UO here: but I don't care whether you call your bloat a blump or a bump. A blump is a made up word. A bump is real. Bloat causes a bump. Bloat is caused by pregnancy. I don't care if you call it a bump. Because it is. A bump. Also, your bump is more than your fruit size of a baby. And I have seen plenty of women with their 2 inch babies that have a bump.
However, if you think it is all baby, then you just need a little guidance.
I hate the way elementry education is formatted at 99% of schools. Common core and standardized tests are horrible ways to teach kid. The lack of outdoor time, integrated topics, and free exploration (among other things) makes me mad, and I'm not sure how I'm going to stomach my son starting Kindergarten next fall.
(I'll just say I'm not criticizing teachers, there are some great teachers. It's the whole structure )

Yes!!! I Agree 100% and am equally terrified about our son's August 2016 introduction into this system.

I know you are excited but you arent going to be a june or july mom to be yet so dont post on the bump birth month page. Its a little irrelevant now but still drives me crazy

Better than a few weeks ago where there was a thread for aspiring July moms. Uh, what? Isn't that what TTGP is for?

@Wyattnash00 I couldn't agree more with the husband/wife convos on FB! I really don't get it! There is texting and uh talking to each other out loud (really?!). My sister and her H do this all the time and it drives me insane!
I f*cking hate solicitors ringing my door bell. No, I don't care if you see my lights are on and that I'm home, I'm not answering the door. Rude? IDGAF.
Send me a piece of junk mail if you must so I can recycle it in peace.
My UO would have to be my hate for selfies! I just dont get it! i don't like taking selfies or looking at them ! Once and a while ok but some ppl take multiple per day and feel the need to bombard the fb or Instagram feed with them....#getoverurself
Wyattnash00 Yes!! I had a friend whose GF posted on his FB. "Hey babe will you pick me up a Mt. Dew on your way over here". UMMM That is what a text is for! Dumb B.
My UO: Pregnancy care needs to be the same for everyone. Yay for you ladies who have had an early US but it totally sucks for the ones who don't get that. My first appointment isn't until 11 weeks 3 days (5 weeks away still!!) and it isn't even for sure if I will have an ultrasound then. It makes me super jealous to see everyone's US of their little bean.

Yes! I was going to post this today. I've had a few people eyeing my mid-section, and two of them even came to the conclusion that I was pregnant. I do realize that my baby isn't even an inch and a half long, but if I am pregnant and look pregnant, I think it means I'm showing. I think I'll be unpacking and washing my maternity clothes today.

I can empathize with you on being anxious for an US, because my first appt with my OB isn't until the 16th where I'll be almost 11w.
However, pregnancy care cannot be the same for everyone. Most of the time that you hear about women getting an US/hearing the HB that early, it's for a reason. Either they've had previous miscarriages, had complications like bleeding or are considered high risk. There are some where that's just how their doctor rolls, but most of the time it's for a legitimate reason. For others, like myself, I have had no previous miscarriages and no bleeding or complications. Everything appears to be progressing normally as it should, so there is no need for them to see me any earlier.
mrsschmity Oh yeah I know why others get early US and earlier appointments I just wish it was the same for every pregnancy that's all. I would love to get to see my little bean too.

@augbride87 It will be so worth the wait! You'll get to see so much more than a little jelly bean. I just had my U/S at 9 weeks and we saw the heartbeat and even heard the heartbeat. We could see little stubby arms and legs and we even saw it wiggle around. I had my first U/S with my DD at 8 weeks and at first I was upset that I had to wait a week longer this time but I'd gladly do it again. With DD we only saw a jelly bean. It didn't resemble a baby at all to me. What you will see at 11 weeks will look much more baby like and it will be amazing. I don't blame you for being anxious and jealous though!
I know it's a little early for this but wtf are people thinking with maternity shirts with horizontal stripes? I was doing some browsing online and it seems like every other top has them. They don't even look good on the size zero model, why would they look good on anyone else?
My UO (I'll probably get flamed, I realize, sorry): I think the wedding announcements/save the dates/pregnancy announcements involving pets is so corny. I love my dogs but I wouldn't put them in an announcement like that. It's just weird. My little sister had her freaking farret in her engagement photos. It had a sign saying something like my parents are engaged or something. Dumbest thing ever in my unpopular opinion.

Totally with you on this one. I just can't get into pets that much. I have a dog, but never in my life would've had her in my pictures. I have tons of friends/family that have done this. Drives me crazy too!!

I'm not going to flame you, but I'll be the one to disagree We treat our dog like family, so she is usually part of our family pictures. Then again, I'm also biased because I think dogs are the only animal where it's acceptable to include them in any sort of family photo. Ferrets, cats, or anything else is just weird IMO. So I'm a hypocrite on this topic. Sorrynotsorry.
Mine is definitely going to be an UO but I can't get with the daily symptoms thread. Maybe it's because not much changes in a single day for me symptoms/rave wise and changing how far along I am by one day just seems silly to me. For you ladies who do it, I'm not ragging on you. I couldn't care less if you participate. To each their own. I will probably only join in once a week though.

I love horizontal stripes. I have the exact opposite opinion on this issue. I'm gonna be wearing the crap out of horizontal stripes and I think I look great.

I can see where you're coming from. Really it was started to try and redirect some of the daily questions that get asked about symptoms and consolidate them into one thread. I don't do it so much as to talk about symptoms as I do to get to know people I guess. I like to include the Rants/Raves and GTKY questions because people get to share things unrelated to pregnancy. I get where you're coming from though
