Just got my BFP today! We just started trying thinking it would take a couple months at least- we were wrong! I'm due at the end of December. We are very excited for this new little addition to soon join us
I just found out I'm pregnant. I'm not happy, it wasn't planned, and I can't stop crying. HELP!
This is a little late, but I'm going to give you some tough love because I was also not thrilled about #2. You have 2 choices: think about how awful the timing is or pull on your big girl panties, deal with the inconvenience and start thinking ahead. Hopefully by now, you've had time to process and either you've dealt with it (no judgment here) or you're making peace with it. No one benefits by focusing on the negative.
It is a lot to deal with. And it will be hard. But as someone who cried, cursed, and swore when I found out, I can tell you honestly that baby #2 filled a hole in my heart I didn't know was there. Sometimes, God gives you what you need, even if it is ill-timed offsping.

I have stopped crying and dwelling. Lol thank you. I'm trying my best to think positive but I am already tired just thinking about all of the work! I had also found out the day after I got a new job so it just added to the stress. I don't plan on telling them til I'm about 12 weeks so they can see I am a hard worker despite being pregnant. Just stressful. But I am excited for my baby to have a lifetime playmate!

Trust me, it is tiring! But it's completely worth it! We have a now 3.5 year old son and 10.5 month old twins. Am I exhausted sometimes? Oh hell yeah, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. You'll learn and develop a new routine. Our son is the best big brother. It's just amazing to see their bond with him and each other. We always planned on 2 children. God wanted us to have 3, so He gave us twins. He wanted you to have another baby, so he gave it to you. You'll do great!
So baby Savannah Cadence is here early! Due to preeclampsia (I have such great luck), it was decided to take her out on Friday at 30 weeks. It's terrifying but she is doing well in the NICU. She was 1pound, 15 ounces and so very tiny. She is perfect just small. Every nurse calls her feisty and loves her. It's a long road ahead, but it's just so amazing to have her here.
@Mamabish OMG! Baby Savannah is gorgeous!! You are freaking amazing! I LOVE that you checked in with us. I think of you often Know i'm sending lots of prayers and good vibes for you, your husband and your beautiful baby to get strong and head home soon
@MamaBish I admit to stalking you! I was so glad to see your birth announcement in july after you had expressed some concern in your pgal post. My most sincere congratulations on the arrival of baby Savannah, and I have been sending your little girl strong, healthy thoughts. All the best wishes for your family
@MamaBish I absolutely adore that picture you so deserve to snuggle your little bundle after all you've been through. She's small but beautiful and I'm so glad to hear she's feisty. Sending love and prayers that everything continues to go well for you and your sweet family.
@MamaBish Congratulations!! What a beautiful and special name. So wonderful you get to snuggle her, and that she's feisty. I hope Savannah grows fast and furious so she can come home soon. Have been thinking of you and wishing you and baby all the health.
@MamaBish what a previous picture of love. So glad Savannah is doing well and is a feisty little one. I think of you often and will be sending lots of positive thoughts your way! Thank you so much for popping into the June board to let us know. Please keep us posted!
@MamaBish by now you can see that you have a crowd of creepy internet friends who have been rooting for you since the start!!!!! We really do hope and pray for you and your baby every second!!! Congrats!
Found out recently I am pregnant with number 2 I am stoked although waiting for your first appt seems like it's taking forever. I have been way more nervous about miscarring this time around I don't know why.
@mjschenk we are not on birth control anymore, but i am still nursing/pumping. Did you get your period back prior to conceiving (sorry if I am being too intrusive)? just curious how it worked for you. I still haven't gotten a period. I know it's still possible to get pregnant, just not sure how likely it will be for me.
@swiebe yes I stopped taking birth control and had two periods before getting pregnant. I have always been regular and pretty much went back to that right away. My LO still breast feeds first thing in the morning and at bed. Will be completely weaning the next few weeks if he takes cows milk without a problem.
