Pregnant Again

Wow. So we are pregnant again. My husband and I are absolutely freaking out. We are excited and scared and well HELLO I don't want to be pregnant again right now.
(I know babies are a blessing and this is meant to be) but ahhhhhh. Help? Just needing some moral support.

You are braver than I. This gives me the shakes haha but come back in 5 years time and I'll be so jealous of your LOs being besties. It's going to be hard but it's also going to be great. Congratulations to you both. It will be lovely celebrating all the milestones to come with both babies.

Wowza!!! Congrats lady!!! If it makes you feel any better, I'm not on any type of birth control and we are pretty lazy about using condoms...

I think it's great!!! Congrats!! I keep thinking about having kids close in age for many reasons but one of the big ones is using all the same stuff u bought or received for the first one and as soon as u feel those first flutters I bet all worries go out the window! Congrats again!

Congratulations!!! I'm sure it will be overwhelming and amazing all at the same time. Lots of perks to having 2 close together.., 1) they'll be inseparable, 2) you'll still be in diaper/baby mode by the time baby #2 comes along 3) it's usually an easier adjustment for your first being so young, etc etc.. Hope you have a wonderful pregnancy!

I'm also pregnant again!!!! Just found out today! We're excited but of course nervous too mostly about stupid $! im happy to have them close together though! Wish I had been able to lose my baby weight from #1! Oh well! Congrats!!! To happy healthy pregnancies and babies!

This was me last year, @bryannatutcher and @foxa319! My DD's are 11.5 months apart. I agree with pp's about the positive aspects of having babes close together, and it's so much fun as they start to interact more and more. I won't lie, it's nuts at times, though!

Congrats @taboullio84! What's your due date? I'm in the same boat due July 9th! I'm double boarding now between here and the July 2016 board! Also scared and nervous but excited! My pregnancy is way different this time, none of the nausea, vomitting or cramps I had with ds, just super emotional! Cry like 3x a day for no reason! Wishing you a healthy easy pregnancy!

Is it sick in the head that I am envious? I am already dreaming of #2 despite our challenges the first time around and an LO who is still not sleeping through the night...I suppose I am already used to running on fumes, so what difference would one more make? Lol (I say that with total tired mommy sarcasm). Congrats!!!

Yeah, you can post about your 7 year old's teeth when we post about our 7 month olds' teeth.

I like June as a birth month. Not too fat for winter coats, not too swampy for the summer months, and not too cold for a newborn.

I have to admit, this thread makes me uncomfortable. But I have my two kids and we're done. I see "Pregnant Again" and all I think is that sucks. Good thing DH just got snipped! (This is not a judgment on number of kids or timing of kids. I just cannot imagine being pregnant again.)

@dancegurl1118 I'm having baby longings too... I started thinking June 2017 would be petty awesome.

I broached the subject with DH who was in a drunkish happy mood last night and I think I may have gained some ground lol. Perhaps we will succeed in this pregnancy pact...

I'm getting these pangs as well, but we agreed not to have anymore. I did not think it would be this hard to be one and done ( though we also have my 11 year old stepson). I knew from the beginning he only wanted one more and realistically this is all we can afford so I should be okay with it. I had a dream last night that I found out I was pregnant and was scared to tell him. Then when he found out he was super excited. When I told him about it this morning he was definitely not into this dream at all!

Me too. Though to be honest, right now when we actually do get the rare chance to have sex we're not really doing anything to stop getting pregnant right now...aside from breastfeeding which isn't contraception (though my cycle has yet to return).

I like the idea of summer 2017 bc I already have seasonally appropriate maternity clothes for work. And having the summer off is pretty sweet.
