Re: Those of you who will have 2 under 2

  • I'll have 3u3. I feel worse this time then I did with my 2nd pregnancy. More headaches and fatigue. I have a 20 month old and 7 month old.

  • I will also have 2u2 I have a N14 baby that I am still nursing, I am excited to have two close together! My nipples are killing me... I don't know what I should do, I want to continue bfing purely for the anti fungal/bacterial and better immunity, my DD has been so healthy and I want to keep her that way.
I have been so sick and exhausted. My biggest worry is where my husband will sleep when #2 comes along, even though we have a king sized bed DD sleeps sideways and takes up so much room. Lol and there is no way I am trading less sleep for a bed with my husband! I guess he will have to fend for himself.
  • Another A14 mama here! And DD is still very much into nursing. Not sure yet if we're going to try to wean or tandem feed, letting her decide I guess. I'm hoping I can at least get her to cut back so that if we do have to tandem, there will be enough for the new baby.
  • My two will be 14 months apart. It was a complete shock. I'm still in disbelief. My 7mo DS is not sleeping through the night and I think my supply is drying up (11weeks). I'm completely exhausted and my aches and pains are so much worse this time. I really am so excited, we always planned on at least one more baby. But sometimes my emotions get the best of me and I doubt my abilities.

This article always validates my emotions... It's my deep breath when I'm overwhelmed...

  • Mine will be 20 months apart. It's funny, I stay home with him and only really feel pregnant when he's napping or down for bed...I guess he keeps me so busy I don't notice! The hunger thing I feel all day though which is annoying because it's not easy cooking with him around!

The biggest thing I have noticed that's different, my boobs don't hurt nearly as bad! They're sore but last time they were untouchable! I'm assuming it has something to do with getting pregnant right after I stopped breastfeeding so the glands probably didn't have to grow as much again? Who knows.

The only real concern I have is we're putting my son in a big boy bed with bumpers instead of doing a second crib...he still feels like such a baby but we would have done it at 2 anyway and I think he'll like the idea of it. We shall see
  • I'm due 11 days after my daughter's 2nd birthday. She's a very busy toddler and some days, I'm panicking. But, for the most part, I know that I wanted them close together. Plus, I keep reminding myself that DD will still go to DC 3 days a week :)
