Overdue mega RANT!

40 weeks 3 days today.

Can I just say that I'm pretty much 100% over being pregnant!? I had a pretty easy pregnancy up until these last few weeks. Baby is bumping into all my nerves down there making it hard to get comfortable. Having Braxton hicks that make my entire stomach hard, it gets hard to breathe and I get really hot, almost like hot flashes. My area down there is SO sore and swollen(sorry, tmi) I think I about die every time I have to lift my legs up higher than a foot off the ground. My back is constantly killing me! Not to mention the extreme heartburn and acid reflux that literally nothing seems to help. On top of getting 2-3 hours of sleep per night because I'm so uncomfortable.

Oh, and on top of all of that... All of my family members asking me all day everyday things like "in labor yet?" "Any signs yet?" "You'll let us know when it happens right?" My MIL had the nerve to tell me she was "frustrated with waiting" on my baby to come.

*sigh* end of my rant. I just have to hang in there until Tuesday (I'll be 40 weeks 6 days) and then my doctor will set an induction date. I will request that the sooner the better! I just cannot wait to meet my prize!

How are the overdue ladies coping with these final few days?

Today is my first day overdue so I'm treating myself to a pedicure and avoiding people that I know because I will snap on the next person that says "still no baby?" I have to go back this Friday for a non stress test. My doctor won't induce because I have an unfavorable cervix. Until then I'm doing exercises to help it move to an anterior position and hoping I'll go into labor. Ugh.

I feel the exact same way @bhoward1130! I could have written that exact post. Today I am taking my 3 year old for trick or treating downtown at a farmers market we have. Being induced on the 30th and won't be able to be out on Halloween with her. Which is unfortunate because I am a huge fan of everything Halloween. So I figured the walking downtown couldn't hurt and maybe we can go for a nice lunch afterwards! Ugh.... It's almost over!
