Arite ya'll...thought I start this Monday morning off with some humor.

This morning I went to the McDonald's drive through and ordered some breakfast, when I got to the window, I gave the cashier my friggin' wallet instead of my debit card, wtf? Lol

I put a pot of water on the stove yesterday, then forgot about it entirely. When I realized it was there I forgot what I was planning to make.
This morning I set a timer for one of my students breaks. It went off, I stopped it, then completely forgot. The kid got an extra 10 minute break because I am a basket case, lol. He was pleased.
There have been more things just from the last weekend, but, of course, I forget. Lol

I've had a thing with my brain assuming everything goes into the freezer. Taco shells, juice, silverware, my first thought is "freezer".

Last night I was preheating the oven, set the stuff that was going to go into the oven next to it and went to sit down. 5 minutes later got up because I was hungry and was going to start dinner just to see it all sitting there already. Totally forgot.

Mine all seem t be not being able to remember words right now. Like, I want to get new coushons for the...the...that one thing.. You know, the thing that you sit in...it rocks...like a chair that rocks...you know. The thing? (That actually happened!)

Me and DH were in a store over the weekend.  I see some cactus and as I viewing them, I wanted to see how they felt?  So I touched it and let out a big OUCH.  DH wouldn't stop laughing.  I wasn't hurt, but I started to tear up.  WTH!!!  Mainly with the tearing up at first.  I laughed it off eventually but I have no idea where those tears came from.

I put together a big roast with potatoes and carrots and seasonings last night in the crock pot for this AM. I should have put it in the refrigerator so it would keep fresh until the morning. Totally left it on the counter all night. There goes Monday's meal plan.

I read an anniversary announcement in the newspaper for my H uncle. His uncles wife has the same name as me... For 10 minutes I totally could not understand why I was being mentioned.... FFS! Was totally confused.

I forgot to put my car in park... Took a second to realize what was wrong! Thank goodness there was space between me and the fence I almost drove into!!!

These are cracking me up! So far I've not had any baby brain moments but I had a bad one with my first. I had gone to the grocery store at about 6 months and walked out to my car with all the bags on my arms. I was pulling out my keys and glanced in the window and thought, "Where is my jacket? I left it in the passenger seat. Ohmygosh someone stole my jacket. And LEFT FAST FOOD WRAPPERS IN MY CAR. ohmygosh. I have been robbed. And my car is trashed." And I was hyperventilating and just about to dial 911 when I realized the car was beige, not silver. Ooooops!

Mine is similar. I put my roast and potatoes and everything together at lunch one day, came home that evening to a delicious... Raw roast. I put it on WARM instead of high. I was so sad

I shaved one of my legs in shower and didn't realize I forgot to shave the other one until I was putting lotion on. I forgot I have 2 legs.

What is it with roasts! I swear if leftover gets left out or somethings not cooked right it's a roast! And they are like the easiest things ever

Last night I really wanted a snack of apples dipped in peanut butter (if you haven't tried it, it's delicious). But then I realized we're out of peanut butter. Super sad face. I couldn't believe we ran out of peanut butter and I didn't put it on the list for grocery shopping on Saturday. So disappointed. Then I had my WTF moment when I opened the fridge today to find the jar of PB in there. Why pregnant brain??? Why????

I threw DH's work clothes in the washing machine last night before bed and then fell asleep. I woke up at 4:00 this morning to pee for like the tenth time and figured I would go throw the clothes into the dyer. It was a great idea until I realized I never started the washing machine. I had to set my alarm to wake up early enough to move them into the dryer after that.

Yesterday I went to get gas (I live in Oregon so they oump our gas), and I got my wallet out and set it in my lap while I waited for my turn. Then I pulled up to the pump. While waiting for the guy to come, I looked for my wallet.... in my purse! I searched and searched again. Dang... must have left it at home. So I pulled away and halfway down the parking lot, I found it in my lap. I couldn't believe it! That is something my pre - pregnant self would have never done! I did go back for gas, but I sure felt silly!

I mentioned in another thread that I needed to give a urine sample at the doctors office, sat the cup on the counter and then proceeded to use the toilet. Lol I was so embarrassed when I came out empty handed.
I've had a few other moments like forgetting to put my car in park and today I finally got my new debit card in the mail, went to Target, and then somehow totally just dropped it. I spent the next 30mins looking for it. Thankfully someone turned it in.

I find that during conversations I'll ask the person I'm talking to the same question more than once within the same conversation. It's like I forgot I just asked and what your response was. For example I was talking to my Dad about something and I asked what time he was leaving. Then 5 or 10 minutes later I asked him again.

I was in the bathroom today (in public), came out of the stall got soap and put my hand under the faucet waiting for the water to come out. It took about 5+ seconds to realize I needed to turn the handle to make water come out. The sad part is I used that same exact bathroom about 6 times today prior to this incident. Also I fell asleep in class...oops!!

We have a keypad entry for our side door... I could not remember the four digit code. Thankfully it was a nice day I sat outside for about five minutes racking my brain... No luck. Then I remembered that I had an extra front door key in my purse. Let myself in the house just as I remembered my code. I think I need to put a reminder on my phone,

Put the salad dressing away ... in the dishwasher. That and I'm already starting to struggle to find words. I don't remember this happening so early last time!!

I almost burned my house down... Left a pot on the stove on low for like 12 hours with just a half inch of Chicken broth and found it that night totally evaporated and burnt. Oops.

I drove to work this morning around 10am, only to remember as I pulled into the parking lot that I didn't have to be there until 4pm.... I was supposed to be going to my OTHER job, which is literally down the road from my house. My boss got a good laugh out of it. She has 4 kids so she understands it well.

Then I went to put dinner in the oven (after cooking the meat and actually making the enchiladas), only to realize that the last 45 minutes of prep time, I never turned on the oven -_-

Omg! I can totally see myself doing something like that lol

I swear, I keep doing random air-headed things..I was chopping some veggies on a cutting board, and when I went to throw away all the ends, etc that I usually leave on the cutting board, I threw away the cutting board right along with everything else! Lol...I literally just tossed everything in the trash and walked away.
