I'm going to be completely honest here. I haven't bought new underwear since right around when I got married over 7 years ago. So they're holy and not pretty. I finally bought new underwear the other day and I'm totally kicking myself for not taking care of me. Like what was I thinking???

@skruhmin I feel the same way! I am getting new undies tonight, and I broke down and bought 2 more maternity tops- I'm sick of my tummy hanging out of everything! I even bought a plus size top last night- it still doesn't cut it My tummy sticks out ~X(

I love this so much. I was on bed rest with DD and would seriously wait at the top of the stairs for DH to get home so I could tell him what was happening on TB and get some sort of human interaction and not go totally stir crazy. He made fun of me all the time but now that my first BMB's kids are 2 and are now on FB and we've met a few moms/families in real life, he is 100% on board. If we are ever questioning something he will now ask, "well what do your mom friends think?" But when I first joined TB he'd be all, "are you being mean to ladies on the internet again?" hahahahaha
@skruhmin that cracked me up because I'm the same way. I actually bought some a few months ago and yes, I was feeling the same as you haha. My husband is always shocked when I buy myself anything because I'm completely one of those people that goes to the store with intentions of only getting myself some much needed clothing items and come home with all kid clothes lol. My excuse is always "I didn't like anything for me but they were having a sale on kid stuff!" Lol I'm not sure he quite buys that excuse anymore.

Sometimes I ride the train and don't buy a ticket...
1) It is too overpriced for the short rides I take ($5 for a couple of stops)
2) I play stupid american when I get caught and pretend I dont understand...
I'm actually almost guilty of this when I went to San Francisco last week. I probably shouldn't have bought the multi-day pass because the cable car operators don't even check when they do minor stops, only the major end of the line stops.

We have lived in our new construction home since June, and I've only used my brand new dishwasher twice... the only times I have ever used one. I feel like I do a better job! I want to love it, but I don't.

We have a dishwasher in the house we have lived in for 4.5y now (my first since I moved out of my parents' house like 15y ago), and I think I've used it less than 10 times. I used to use it if we had a party and used a lot of dishes, but then I got smart and started buying paper plates for parties LOL

Personally I use a dishwasher, but I've thought about just hand-washing instead. The dishwasher definitely doesn't get some things as clean as I can. I don't like using it for pots/pans/utensils so I wash those by hand.

I honestly can't function without a dishwasher. Even after I handwash pots and pans mine still gets run twice a day lol. Yay big family and homecooking 3 meals a day!

My husband loves to hand wash but I'm all over just tossing it straight in the dishwasher.
My fffc: I yell at my dogs a lot more now. The things that were normal to me before now make me grumpy - like poop booties on everything (so they are now separated to their side of the house) and fur on the sheets or my pillow, and licking loudly in the middle of the night... I love my dogs, but man they gross me out much more now (probably be DS is a floor roller and Hoover).

Oh man this is too funny! I'm a nanny (my kid has severe special needs and can't communicate) and my husband is out of town 3 weeks out of the month for work. Basically, this is the highlight of my life. He never enjoys my stories very much...oh except the double pregnant thread. He references getting double pregnant at least every other day.
The double pregnant thread was a goodie. We are all very good at* high brow sarcastic snark lol.
My FFFC: I have been eating fast food lately. A lot of fast food. Way more than is socially acceptable. All I crave are greasy burgers and fries. Does the lettuce on my burger count as getting my veggies in?

Yeah the dog we had to get rid of for mental instability, he used to go out in the middle of winter and eat frozen poop. And he would bring the "poopsicles" in. And he used to leave bullseyes everywhere. He was the sweetest dog but there were times I wanted to kill him. He grossed me out so much during pregnancies.

We threw an Oktoberfest party at our house on September 19th. Instead of trying to make our own beer cheese for pretzels we just bought a 6 pound 10 ounce can of nacho cheese from GFS. We only used about 1/3 of the can and the leftovers have been living in our fridge ever since. So our diet has mainly consisted of things that can be dipped in or smothered with nacho cheese.

We won't know for a few weeks! My mom craved McD cheeseburgers with me and Entenmann's donuts with my brother so she thinks it's a girl lol. Although donuts sound good, too....
I made an impulse buy and bought a Patagonia zip-up sweater and have no intention of telling DH how much it actually cost.
I also recently made pumpkin cheesecake bars and have been eating multiple a day, they are so good I don't even care. With a dollop of whipped cream on top...heaven.

Let's see, you are getting pumpkin - fruit, cream cheese - calcium/protein/dairy. You need your calories as a pregnant woman. Way to be!

I have seen a couple of the gals from the tri boards direct ladies to their BMBs and, in theory, I understand why but in reality it makes me want to hulk smash something.
I baked a huge batch of brownies, cut them up, put them in zip baggies, then hid them in the back of the freezer and have been snacking on them and not telling DH. My brownies!!!
DD is in school fulltime now and SO is at work, and I've been taking naps all day for the past week, if not napping then just watching Netflix in bed. I feel guilty and lazy but I'm so tired and bored, I can't help it.
We just moved to a small town this summer and NOBODY is hiring. So I've been super bored while taking a year off university. Plus I don't know anyone here and to make matters worse my family lives about an hour away.
My house is overly clean (I almost look forward to the baby toys lol). I usually do everything when I get up out of my funk in the afternoon before they get home, so it's not like dishes are laying around or laundry isn't done. But It feels nice to just sometimes be lazy and not in a big in a rush to do everything
I can't for the life of me understand how someone wouldn't think it was rude of them to throw their own baby shower for themselves. How is it not obvious that something like that would be seen as gift grabby and rude? My mind is blown with some of the things being said on that thread!
I am also probably overly annoyed about getting a warning from TB about a comment on someone's over the top gender disappointment. It may have been a little harsh but I don't see how anything I said was actually against the TOU.
