Re: Final pairing for Isla

  • I like Josephine in the middle with the shorter first and last name. Both are excellent options though!

  • I think both are cute! I voted Maeve because I like the way three shorter names look instead of a longer middle name "Josephine" I also like that your boys have shorter middle names so it kinda matches a little.

  • Haha @bbiutmcph - I just realized we like the exact opposite for short and long names!
  • I feel like the longer Josephine works better with short first and last names, but I really like Isla Maeve together as a name, so I would probably lean that way. I can't vote, I'm really torn.

  • I love Isla Maeve
  • Isla Maeve sounds better to me, and pairs nicely with your boys' short names.

  • I like both!  How many syllables in your last name?  If it's one syllable then I would probably go with Josephine, if it's longer than either works.
  • Thanks, everyone. I appreciate the feedback.

I'm in agreement that Isla Maeve sounds most similar and best with my son's names, but that Isla Josephine sounds better with our one syllable last name.
