Don't know if this is real or not. But on the chance it IS, and you give birth and still feel like you hate or resent the baby, PLEASE contact your state's Child Protective Services. You can surrender the baby to them, no questions asked. My husband is a social worker and people do this more than you'd think. Our state has had 4-5 people this month drown their babies in bath tubs. So sad when there are Safe Haven laws that allow you to surrender your child without penalty.
Also, regarding support, once you get a court order the father has to pay. Or he goes to jail. And if he's in the military that's not going to work out well for him.
Military doesn't work that way. Make sure your business is in order (stable home, clean drug tests, etc) and there's not a lot he can do to you. He is obligated to pay child support and keep the kid on tricare from the point you are legally separated and his child support is essentially a fixed rate. My friends who went through this didn't even have to get it set in court initially..they went thru the ex's chain of command and it was handled. He can't threaten you away from it and you need to document when he does for court later.
Edit bc I kept thinking about this: if you don't want him to win in court I'd seriously consider not posting about your ambivalence/late term abortions/wish it didn't exist feelings towards said baby on public Internet forums..bc if I was a judge and I saw this I might feel less sympathetic.
I'm just lurking...how the hell was the thread not shut down? This is insane.
Because apparently telling people how to properly utilize the community or suggesting reading up on pregnancy/newborn care when asking the same question for the umpteenth time is horrendous (don't forget, no Leo gifs!). However, spewing blatant MUD about waning a late term abortion, fantasizing about ODing on Plan B, abusive relationships, and only caring enough for a child to not get thrown in jail is a okay.

I don't think anyone reported it to bump admin. If I were to post a funny meme that swore, though, this would be closed in a hot second. Morals of the board are strange.
