I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on my original due date of Oct 1!
I know dozens of us moved from pregnant to mommy in the last few weeks but I haven't seen much discussion on the subject. Where do we all hang out now for nb topics? Still in the birth month club or just go into the specialty threads?
And a shout out to all mommies to be - trust your gut. You will know when labor starts. Also, I personally never intended to have a natural birth but it happened and you can do it! I'm not immune to pain. It was painful. I screamed. But I used all the pain management techniques I learned to the point I got to the hospital fully dilated (note: I was there at 1cm and turned away but within 4 hours I went all the way to 9cm). But after that, active labor and pushing is hard but kinda better. If natural is your plan but you're scared, use pain management and know that it's really possible.
