All I want to eat today is mashed potatoes! I packed left over mashed potatoes and pot roast for lunch and could eat like a gallon (or pound...are mashed potatoes considered a liquid or solid? Oh well...) more!
Italian hoagies. In high school the wrestling team sold Italian hoagies as a fundraiser and they were da bomb diggity. So of course, 15 years later, it would make sense that's all I want to eat, right? Somehow a good Italian hoagie is hard to find in NYC. Had something close for lunch this week, and just ordered another one for today. Salivating just thinking of it. Whats funny is I normally don't like meat or sandwiches.
I have been craving anything with cheese in it, usually baked beans with cheese (English classic) before I got pregnant I would eat at least one chocolate bar a day but now I can't even think about putting one near my mouth
Anything salty, sour or spicyyyyyy!!!!! I honestly want to drink hot sauce! I work at a pub and always order Buffalo fingers and I make them SOAK them in hot sauce!!! I have a huge bag of sour patch kids beside my bed lol I'm currently eating a jar of pickles lol I have also been doing some late night Wendys runs... I can never decide there so I get a cheese burger and nuggets or a chicken burger with a Jr. Cheeseburger X_X
At first when my nausea was really bad all I wanted was fruit. I still love it but not as much lol Before I was preg I LOVED steak... now I can't even think of it.. this makes me very sad!
I'm craving everything!! Just give me food! Any food. With my first pregnancy, I never had any symptoms, with this one so far all I want to do is eat. I'm pretty sure I'm going to gain a ton of weight. While I'm eating I think about what I want to eat next! Anyone else the same way?
The past few days I've been on a guacamole kick. I'm out of avocados today, so I guess I'll have to make something else for dinner. We've eaten some variation of Mexican cuisine a few days in a row now...
During my MS phase all I wanted to eat was baguette, but American bread just isn't the same as European bread I am dreaming of Indian food and vinegar!
I've been on a cottage cheese and pineapple binge lately. And I talked myself out of buying pear nectar earlier this week (all those empty juice calories!), but I totally regret it now.
VS2016 I am in your boat. We had steak and mushrooms for supper. I'm hungry again. I want taco bell all the time but the closest one is 20 miles away.... ugh!
All the carbs. Especially pasta. It's really the only thing I can eat a substantial quantity of without feeling sick. I had spaghetti yesterday and plan on having it again tonight. No regrets.
Also back to carrots and ranch dressing.
In other news... I now hate brushing my teeth bc the toothpaste we have apparently makes me gag. Like not the actual act of brushing, but the toothpaste itself. I told DH he needs to get me new toothpaste and he looked at me like I was crazy.
Pretty much anything that someone says. Ugh!! Someone posted cinnamon rolls. Now i want those. Lots of buffalo chicken wings, want that now. lol Smelled the neighbors bacon this morning, had to have some. Thank god i haven't gained any weight yet
Pizza or Italian food all the time. We were at my step moms birthday party last night and nothing there appealed to me at all and I hadn't eaten for awhile. I made DH order me pizza and cheese sticks. I didn't feel that bad bc other people ended up eating it too. Lol.
Over the weekend I NEEDED buffalo chicken pizza. Unfortunately, MH and son are both spice wusses (ok, my son is only 2 so I'll give him a pass), so I had to order a whole pizza just for me. I had to, guys. It was the only way.
Also, we had a pancake breakfast at church on Sunday and I seriously calculated how many pancakes I could eat before I veered into gluttonous territory. Four...four pancakes. And half of my son's that he didn't finish because he filled up on scrambled eggs. He has a lot to learn.
Insane how quickly what I am obsessed with changes. I get fixated on something, have to have it, and as soon as I do, I'm over it. My husband is having to deal with the leftovers of so many random things I've NEEDED and then been done with. Mochi ice cream, brownies, clam chowder, to name a few.
Only things I want consistently are fish tacos and pancakes! Food truck by my work has the best fish tacos in the world and it kills me that I have to limit them to once a week.
Good news is that I am usually sugar obsessed, and the pregnancy has definitely calmed that down - which is why I think I'm just craving a lot of slightly sweet things like pancakes and cornbread, instead of cookies and cake like usual.

Can I triple love this? Buffalo chicken pizza is my favorite and DH and I have had the same issue before (pregnant and not pregnant). Luckily, our local pizza place runs a special where we can get a large buffalo chicken and add a medium plain or pepperoni for only a few dollars.
Carbs. Any and all. Bread, pasta, potatoes (mostly in the form of fries or chips). Seems like it's the only thing that makes me feel better lately. Can't wait for my weight check on the 24th!
Today I want peanut butter and chocolate. What's for dinner? I don't know because I'm not craving any real food today, real food sounds gross right now, and I woke up late so nothing is prepped. Can I just make peanut butter and nutella sandwiches? There's protein there, right?

Can't forget dairy in the Nutella and grains/wheat in the bread. Other very important food items. I vote yes.
I was in the "mood" for peanut butter on toast with banana and honey... Low and behold, no peanut butter in our pantry! So I went with Nutella on toast with banana.... And oh my goodness it's Awesome!
