Carrots and ranch dressing. We got some yesterday and I ate like half the bag. I meant to pack some for work but I forgot. I plan on eating the rest when I get home though so all is good.
Last night I wanted cheez-its (you can only get them at special American stores in NZ so no real quick fix for that at 7pm) when I finally let myself let go of that I suddenly wanted sour cream and onion rigged chips. MH would not go get them for me and so basically I spent the night pouting like a 2 year old. I've never acted like such a baby over food before!
Amazing to see the similarities here! I'm on the bland food/carbs/cheese team. Mac and cheese being at the top of my list (not Kraft though...found this great one at the grocery store...but yesterday picked up the wrong package and ended up with scalloped potatoes... So pissed at myself!). Cheese strings. Crackers. Spaghetti, cold, no sauce, tons of milk, doritos, cucumbers. I'm usually addicted to chocolate and have no interest right now. Oh, and before this pregnancy, I ate no carbs unless it was a workout day...yeah, that's not happening now!
All I want this week is Chicken Strips and Gravy with Texas Toast!! Last week it was a pizza buffet. We went and I had like barely any because nausea! Sucked! I want salads and boiled eggs. Meat is gross especially lunch meat and steak. I can't make grilled skinless chicken like I used to. Yogurt Parfets especially! Get it like once a week. I'm so tired of eggs and no ground beef! Hopefully Sunday after church my chicken strip craving gets satisfied!!!
Oh and I will add last pregnancy I ate chili cheese fries a lot it was all I wanted. We were broke! I would count change to get them! $2.17!! Sad 1st Tri life!
At least my salt pretzels craving isn't too far out there. The only thing I've wanted for weeks thpugh has been smoothies. I don't care what type of smoothie. It just needs to be frozen, blended fruit.
Did anyone else know target sells smothies at the cafe?! I was so happy! Get both my pretzel and smothie fix at one place
Anything full of salt! Especially Popcorn, chicken soup, Mac n cheese and oddly Spam.... I know I'm not eating very well lately but I finally craved fruit yesterday, so hopefully I can stomach veg again soon!

Me too! Isn't that weird??? I had carrots, celery, ranch dressing, pickles and cheese for dinner the other day. Turned down pizza and Chinese.
Through the period when my MS was super intense, I could only eat fruit and veggies and subway sandwiches with cheese and veggies. The past week or so I've been craving French fries, the seasoned ones, pickles (ALL the pickles--I've had 3 jars in 4 days), and Mexican food. Indian food, specifically homemade Indian food, makes me feel amazing.
I'm definitely on the carb train...and I feel so so guilty. I ate some sweet potato with a glass of fresh pressed orange juice the other night and it all came up. There went my good vitamins ( I had macaroni salad this morning, and for lunch I had macaroni and cheese with a garlic roll, oops! I'll try some fruit and yogurt for dinner.
Strangely, reading this thread is easing my queasiness this morning. I'll just go with it. Also, somebody mentioned mozzarella sticks and now it's all I can think about.
Any salty/vinegar-y carbs I can't get enough of. I'd love some fried pickles right about now. Pre-pregnancy, I was so good with my plain yogurt, granola, almonds, blah blah and now the idea of yogurt totally grosses me out.
Thinking of getting Jimmy John's delivered solely for the pickle...
I'm onto the pickles stage...kosher dill or sweet petites. I just realized that my toddler is picking up on my odd pregnancy combinations too; as we sit here eating a bedtime snack of cheese and multigrain crackers, he grabbed a pickle, broke it into pieces and put it on top of his cracker to eat. Oops.
Basically anything made from potatoes. I had some chips yesterday and it was the most amazing thing. Also creamy dairy-based stuff sounds great, like ice cream (ha) but also cottage cheese, which I never eat. I'm craving carbs in a huge way, but since I'm gluten-free I can't indulge in cake or naan or anything like that.
Oh, I also want Indian and Thai constantly. It's the only 'real food' that sounds at all appealing.
At the beginning all I wanted to eat was french fries. But now it has switched to sweets. Swedish fish, sour patch kids, milky way; I think of something else I want at least 5 times a day. I can't run to the grocery store for every craving!

Lots. of. carbs. Bagels & cream cheese, pretzels, cereal. Oh and I could eat a gallon of plain yogurt with honey, cinnamon and bananas every day also.
I've been Gluten Free and Dairy Free since July. The hunger is testing me!!

Well I know what I don't want...bacon
Got a BLT today and took one bite. YUCK. Baby does not like bacon, and this makes me sad
Baby also didn't like his pizza on Monday which can be a problem since we live on it. Pizza has pepperoni. Do you think baby is a vegan? HA!
