Hey does anyone remember those blocks they used to show on infomercials in the 90's where the kids were making suits of armor and stuff? they were oval, they had glow in the dark ones?
I totally remember those!! I always wanted them but my parents never gave in. Found the commercial!!
@Sjeff0816 I've been wondering also. I'm stuck between the Britax boulevard click tight or the Chicco next fit zip, I can't decide.
I'm considering the Diono Ranier or the Graco 4ever. I want to test them out in our car to see how they fit and how LO fits. They both have great reviews.
We bought the Graco 4Ever All-in-1 Safety Surround Convertible Car Seat and love it. LO loves being able to sit up straight and higher. He also does not fuss going into the new seat like he does the carrier.
We have recaro car seats for our toddler and LOVE them. We had Britax seats we hated. Keeping LO in the baby seat until winter is over. He's ridiculously heavy but I prefer to load him in the house and cover him with a blanket. Plus my arms are jacked now and I want to maintain them by lugging around 40lbs of baby and car seat. Not kidding.
Is it true overnight diapers start at size 3? The only kind I can find in size 2 is pampers baby dry and they aren't cutting it. What are the best overnight diapers?
@hoodoll82 We use Huggies overnights and they are amazing for us! A wet diaper was the only thing keeping LO up at night and as soon as we switched she started STTN. I haven't seen any smaller than size 3. Lo wears a size 2 during the day and I just pull the overnights up a little higher a secure them a little tighter.
We use these for my two year old overnight (because he's been in size 6s for like 18 months and that's the biggest size they have in stores and when you literally can't buy diapers big enough maybe that's a sign you need to POTTY TRAIN ALREADY omg).
We bought the Munch Mitt. LO seems to like it but it's so big for his mouth! He got frustrated trying to fit it in there and started whacking himself in the face with it repeatedly. Then started crying. Overall rating: 8 out of 10 for potential to like it when he's a little bigger.
My fav new purchase is Zutano booties. Warmer than socks, easy to put on and they can't easily get kicked off like his socks do. They're a little on the small side though, I ordered 3 mo, my LO is 4 months but around 5th-10th percentile in height/weight so he's smaller...and the 3 mo booties just fit perfectly without room in the toes. I'd order up a size for some growing room.
@mellar We tried Luvs, good for the day when she's changing up sizes but not strong enough for overnight! This girl can pee!!!! Even her overnight diapers are soaked in the morning and the Luvs were causing her to wake up at 4am to be changed.
^^ I have this (the foot one). Of the three teethers we have, he seems to like this one and the Mam one equally. The other one I have he doesn't seem to care for. I happen to like the foot better than the Mam piece, but only because no matter which way he turns it, he's always getting teether. With the Mam one, he'll end up twisting the thing around and gnawing on the handle, which defeats the purpose of the whole thing

I finally bought a diaper bag!! I already had one that was a gift from my mom. She found a Carter's one in a discount baby store. She spent next to nothing on it and only got it because it was pretty but since it was a gift I felt obligated to use it. It really didn't meet my needs though and has led to a lot of flustered moments so yesterday in Target I found a really adorable one that has tons of storage and I'm so excited! DH teased me for getting so worked up over a diaper bag
Re: Products and Purchases - October
Convertible car seats. Which one do you plan to buy and when do you think you'll switch? This bucket seat is destroying my back.
Came across this on the Britax.

Also re teething my coworker told me about a gel thing that looks like a hand or foot. It's less hard than a teething ring and you can chill it. Maybe LO will think that gel hand is her hand... Wishful thinking but I'm gonna pick one up! https://m.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=53080236&camp=PLAPPCG-_-PID20073247:BRUS&cagpspn=plab_20073247&eESource=CAPLA_DF:53080236:TRUS
