spotting at 10/2 weeks!

I started spotting last night and when I woke up this morn I noticed that I am still spotting. I made it to the ER and so far all they have done is taken blood and urine. I am terrified! I have had a miscarriage before but I am hoping and praying for a miracle.

Praying it's nothing. I had spotting for 3 weeks straight, it was very scary, but luckily everything looks good so far.

No I hadn't had an ultrasound with this baby unti today. I saw my baby for the first time just wiggling away. And I cried! The ultrasound tech consoled me and told me that everything is gonna be alright...but then the doc tells me I have a threatened miscarriage or threatened abortion. So I am just nervous altogether.

I think they have to say threatened miscarriage everytime theres spotting. That's what I've read anyhow.

Threatened AB Is what they will use as a dx if there's any bleeding at all and that term makes it that much more scary but it's standard. Try not to think about the dx code because it doesn't matter for anything other than insurance coverage and documentation . Every visit I have I'm a threatened AB because I spot daily.

I too have the "threatened miscarriage" label. I have been spotting since 6 weeks, I currently 8 weeks 2 days. I have since seen my little bean with a good heartbeat and the doctor said I had a subchorionic hematoma. She said its small and not to worry too much. Any amount of blood is scary but knowing that I have a little heartbeat settles me some. Well wishes to you!

I am 12 weeks 1 day and have spotted on and off and also had heavy bleeding for a time since week 4. I had a SCH 12 times the size of the baby and passed it. The baby is doing great with a strong heartbeat and 2 great ultrasounds. I have had 4 pregnancies with bleeding and only one ended in miscarriage. Keep hope alive.

Hi guys!
So far so good! I actually stopped spotting the very next day. I haven't spotted since. I am counting my blessings. I did read something peculiar on my ultrasound report from the ER Monday. Does anyone know what "1+ fetuses" means? Cause i noticed during the ultrasound there were two sacs but one was empty (No baby) as far as I could see. The tech never said anything about it either.I was just too upset to even investigate it any further. I simply cannot wait to see my ob/gyn soon. Thanks for your prayers
