Natalie? Ava?

Help! My husband and I can not decide on a name. I just found out I will be having our daughter 3 weeks early, so I only have 2 weeks to figure out her name. We are thinking either Natalie or Ave for the first name. We've decided that we will wait to see her to pick the first name. However, we can not decide on a middle name. We have a long last name so are looking for something kind of short. Does anyone have any cute idea's? Thanks for you help in advance!

Thank you all so much! I now have a few middle name ideas to run by the hubby. I've always loved Ave but feel like it is becoming really popular, so I think I'm leaning toward Natalie.

Natalie for sure! Ava is pretty but has been crazy popular for a few years already, makes me roll my eyes just because of that.

Ava is so beautiful... I named my daughter that and I didn't let the popularity ruin it for me... Interestingly I work with children and rarely come across the name!

1) Both are great names
2) Ava is my favorite
3) I think you should use them both.  I think Natalie Ava flows better than Ava Natalie.

I love Natalie! I wouldn't use it myself with my name being Valerie--too close.
But it's always been one of my favourite names.

Ava is very, very popular, as are the Eva/Emma names, so she may get lost in the shuffle a bit. I LOVE Natalie and have considered it both pregnancies until my husband brings up a negative personal connection that I can't get past. I had a friend use Natalie Ann, so cute!!
