Any links or Web sites? Coats that are actually WARM.... I am annoyed at the lack of options. It's going to be cold here very shortly and literally 3 coats that might work.
I delivered DS this past February and it was COLD in Massachusetts! This jacket from Motherhood kept me warm and grew with me. Even when I was enormously pregnant at the end, the side panels stretched enough to fit. Not the best looking jacket in the world but it did its job and was a great investment!
Last pregnancy, I got a long, belted coat from Land's End in a larger size than I would normally wear. It worked out well and zipped throughout my pregnancy during the cold months(I was due in April). That said, I actually ended up wearing it only partway closed most of the time because I was an oven and would get so overheated in the down filling.
I had multiple recess duties a day when pg with DD and live in Maine. A maternity coat was a necessity for me. I didn't just want to go up a size and gave gorilla arms. lol. I got one from Old Navy that I loved. On my phone but will look for a link later.
