due to money, I wasn't able to be 100% natural with my older two. Diapers are cheaper then cloth, baby foods are cheaper then doing it yourself ect. But my baby is almost 3 months old now, I recently got a good job, I'm switching to everything natural. What is the best cloth diapers? Best food processor?
Any opinions or advice from other natural moms?
Re: All natural mamas
For the diapers themselves, we use two kinds : Ozcosy cotton prefolds with a snappie. These catch everything -- all the poop. Buy cotton prefolds because after time, a microfiber diaper will smell. The other diaper we use is made of bamboo filled with charcoal. We use these after baby has pooped, when we know she only has to pee. These charcoal filed liners wick pee to the center like synthetic diapers do. You will be amazed at how many cups (that's right - cups!!) of pee they will hold. You may have trouble even knowing that the diaper is wet.
I bought all of my supplies from Amazon.
You will want to buy a cloth diaper sprayer. It takes me about 15 minutes each day to wash the diapers in the toilet and throw them in the wash.
I also have wet/dry bags for my diaper bag.
I've found cloth diapers to be as easy as disposable. We plan to have more kids, so the upfront expense is definitely worth the savings!!!
