This is a weekly check-in for those in their 2nd trimester: weeks 14 through the end of week 27.
Congrats to all the strong ladies who have made it this far! It's such a great feeling and we've all accomplished so much! We are now 1 week closer to the end of this epically long journey we call "infertility".
Please post below a little about yourself, how many beans you have growing inside, if you have found out the sex(es) and what your EDD is. Please also let us know how far you've made it on your journey and when your next appt is and what for.
QOTW: Now that football season in the US is officially here- is anyone excited? Either for the games, the food, or both?
(Does anyone have any GTKY questions they'd like me to use in the next couple of weeks? I have been struggling coming up with good ones!)

Re: ***2nd tri check-in 9/14/15
I am very grateful that we did the majority of the nursery over Labor Day weekend so I don't have to stress out about that too much!
I decided yesterday I don't much like my OB (perhaps I don't care for anyone currently :-S )
Because my DD falls in January, the office requires we pay our new deductible, in advance, for delivery. So yesterday OB confirmed we would deliver at 34/35w, which is before Christmas. I told him we could let the business office know so I don't have to continue paying, and he acted like it's no big deal, you'll get your money back. Excuse me, we are not all doctors making bank, and your office is not paying interest on my 2k. (I've met my max so insurance pays 100% until end of year).
He resolved the issue, I'm just annoyed.
DH enjoys football, I personally don't care about the game. We have an outdoor fireplace with TV on the mantle and this is the football/grill spot at home.
@MrsBwIVF oh no! I hope your cervix continues to hold on! Multiples put so much pressure. Have you seen a specialist or referred to one?
On the high risk board there are lots of ladies with early funneling/incompetent cervix and good outcomes, you should check it out!
Two years, two losses and three IUIs...
We are having TRIPLETS!
EDD 1/26/16
GGB born November 2015!
Hello - I'm currently in week 16 with one bean. We're waiting until birth to find out the sex. EDD is 02/27/16.
I had my 16 week appointment Monday with my OB. He really scared the crap out of me when he couldn't find the heartbeat right away with the Doppler like last time. He was even to the point of saying I think we'll have you go see ultrasound to check everything out when he found it. Still strong at 155 but I really thought this is it - I've had another miscarriage and we just announced on Friday last week on Facebook. Feeling better about it today but still a little freaked out. I downloaded the Baby Beat app to see if I could find it on my own but it works best at 30-40 weeks so no luck yet. Next appt isn't until October for the 20wk ultrasound and OB meeting.
QOTW - Definitely a football house. Me and DH both play fantasy with some family members and friends for fun. He's more into it than me but still something to talk about/watch on Sundays.
I love football season but just really like it on in the background- for some reason it calms me and is just a nostalgic thing, I don't actually get into it (although DH does and does the whole yelling at the Tv thing). I just love the fall, the cooler weather, Halloween, the leaves changing colors, the comfy clothes...etc.

QOTW: well. My DH is into music, plays guitar and we went to a university that didn't have a football team. I enjoy football but never think to turn it on. I do know DH feels left out of the guys talk about all sports, but not enough for us to put effort into watching the games. Now if we get invited to a party we can cheer a team on like the best!

QOTW: DH is VERY into Pac 12 football, enough that I can actually name a couple of players on his school's tea,. We've gone to a few games including the Rose Bowl. He has taught me a lot about football, and was super proud when I could explain to someone else what a safety was when we were watching the Super Bowl a couple years ago.
Football doesn't really exist in our house, unless my brother is over. I'm pretty oblivious and DH doesn't pay attention either. Guess we are just not much of a sports house in general. (Watch this baby be super into all of them
@MrsBwIVF I hope everything stays above 3cm! Keep us in the loop, and I hope the modified bed rest doesn't get too annoying.
I have not seen a specialist but there is a high risk doctor in the building that they consult with and will send me to if need be.
Best news my hematoma has gone and placenta has moved up and attached completely again!!!! That was more than I could have imagined.
The mentality here is very different a lot more medical and clinical than I was used to. I cried a lot after the doc appointment, happy that things are turning up, sad and letting go of everything I thought my birth would be, relief that we are out of that horrible fear stage.
I feel a little like in zombie land not really sure what to think or feel yet. Just a little dazed.
Not American football people but it is the rugby World Cup! And rugby World Cup is a big, huge deal to my husband and although I'm orgionally a football ( soccer ) fan, I do enjoy the rugby particularly the World Cup. Japan beat South Africa too, that is going to make for a pretty interesting tournament if games like that are such curve balls!!
