Oops!  So yeah, I also didn't introduce myself.  I skimmed the guidelines a while ago, but mostly focused on the what NOT to do.  

To begin... I am 27 and my DH is 26.  We started dating in college after I dated his roommate.  It wasn't totally weird since the roommate told me to go for it after we broke up since he thought we would be perfect together.  He was one of our groomsmen! 

DH and I dated for about 4 years before we got engaged and 6 years before we got married. We just celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary in May by going to the Dominican Republic.  I have been ready to start a family since day 1!  DH is a lot more hesitant.  He wanted a full year of marriage before we started considering babies.  I have a plan currently and that is to start TTC in November.  That gives him 1.5 years of the DINK lifestyle.  

We are both engineers so planning is a big part of what we do.  I am nervous that NOTHING will go as planned, but time will tell.  I am going to look at all this as logically and scientifically as possible which makes me sound like an UBER nerd.    I am totally ok with that.  

I look forward to sharing my journey with everyone and hearing everyone's stories.  I am nervous, thrilled, excited, scared... basically all the emotions available... all at the same time!

We are a lot alike! MH is an engineer and we also met in college. We dated for 6 years too before getting married! AND we went to the Dominican Republic for our honeymoon TOO! We were at Punta Cana at the Paradisus Palma Real?

I think it's natural to be nervous! I'm super nervous too about a lot of things. It's a huge commitment and it's so unpredictable when you'll get pregnant and everything else.

P.S. I LOVED your Ohio State comment. I went to Penn State. No me gusta the buckeyes. =D>

@gabpepsi I am from Ohio, but despise the team.  Not really the team, it is the die hard fans.  Most of the fans I know get way too into it and get super MEAN.  I can't handle that much confrontation/conflict. I figure if I can see the most despised team (according for Ohio State Fans) win, I feel like I win. haha. 

@LavenderBrown1018 We were in Punta Cana as well, but stayed at the Majestic Resorts.

@KSMcClary DYING on your post! I don't even like sports and have never found college football fun to watch. I wouldn't have even been interested in OSU until I moved, but now it's a nice way to connect with people form Ohio (...although, not all! Haha).
