Surprise DH After 20 Week Anatomy Scan

I have my 20 week anatomy scan on the 29th of this month and we get to find out the sex if the baby cooperates that day DH unfortunately cannot make the appointment due to work, he has to run the office while the other manager is out of town on his honeymoon. His office luckily is only a couple of miles from where my doctor is so after the appointment I was thinking of driving over there to tell him what we are having as long as I find out, update him and give him a sonogram photo. 

I was wondering if anybody had any ideas on how to tell him if we are having a girl or boy? I thought of having a t-shirt made up and come into his office wearing a t-shirt, put a boy or girl onsie in a gift box for him to open? We bought little baby Adidas Sambas and I have pink/blue laces (I am using the shoes for our gender reveal on fb) I could put those in a box/bag too with the corresponding lace color for him to open since I already have them. 

Any other ideas/suggestions on how to tell him right after my appointment?

Just go with the picture and tell him.....it didn't need to be cutsie/fancy. He will be excited period.......I think it would be much better if you have the tech write it down, seal it in an envelope and the two of you open it up together when you visit him or when he gets home from work. That's the extent I would go with it.

Totally wait to find out together that night! It will be so special to be together. You can wait 8 or so hours!

If you can, I would wait until you're both home after work to tell him.  That way you can both just relax and enjoy the goods news.

I did genetic testing and found out around 12 weeks while I was at work. I got off early that day and went and bought a pink outfit and little pink socks and wrapped them in gender neutral paper and spelled out he or she on the box.
