I have a 16 month old daughter. I'm a SAHM and am watching my almost 4 month old nephew as a favor to my sister. Thankfully this arrangement is only for 8 more months, but there will be no break. When I stop watching my nephew, the baby will be here.
Okay, I ate my words on the toddler bed (it wouldn't be the first time in motherhood). DS transitioned to it about a week and a half ago; at first everything was great. The past two nights though, he wants to sleep on the floor next to his bed instead. He's not falling out, he's bringing his blanket, pillow, and lovey down with him, setting it up and sleeping there. (It's actually kind of cute/funny.) Not a huge deal, I know, but I'd rather it not become a habit. Any suggestions? Is this a normal phase in this transition? I've heard a ton of mixed things.

This. My little dude randomly started crawling out of bed and sleeping on the floor or even climbing up into the lazy boy chair in his room! I'm just gonna let him do him. If he wants to sleep on the floor, go for it! It is cute to see him make a special little nest for himself and the cat even snuggles up with him. I think it is just part of him wanting some control over his sleeping situation.
I have a 20 month old!!! I would love to share the experience of. Being pregnant with a toddler with you guys! I can already say it's a whole different thing!
Hello! Anyone else out there pregnant for the 2nd time? It's a whole different beast being pregnant and having a toddler.
Oh yeah! I am on "toddler time". There is no rest. Last pregnancy I had the option to take it easy when my body felt it needed it, this pregnancy I am at the zoo chasing a toddler with more energy than I could ever imagine who doesn't want to go in the stroller. Doctor's appointments are also a different ballgame.
I've got a 2 1/2 year old who will be 3 once LO gets here. The more into it I'm getting the more terrified I am to be honest. I don't think it's helping I'm so much sicker with this one. I think DD will be super maternal. I think I fall into the category of not grasping how I'm going to love this LO as much as I love DD.
Been married since 2009. Unicornuate Uterus (yes I menstruate glitter) Several MCs DD born 2013 (our miracle "you can't have babies" baby!)
I've got a toddler at home although I'm not a 2nd time mom. I've got an 8, 6, & 2 year old. I'm pregnant with my 4th. I believe this is my last and I'm OK with that. My 6 year old truly wants another brother. My 2 yr old still has her struggles, she isn't potty trained, she needs glasses, has had tubes put in already, and I'm still not completely sure how well she hears so we have to do a special hearing test different than one that most typically do. She still doesn't talk much. I stress about her care when I will have a baby thrown into the mix. My older two are great and so much easier. I still have not told them I'm expecting because I don't want word to spread yet. I'll tell them in a month.
I have a 2.5 year old son and the poor boy doesn't understand why I'm so tired all the time. I feel for you other mamas who have more than 1 little at home with you

I could have written this exact description of my 2 year old...it's really tough. I'm hoping by the time LO arrives, she'll be caught up with her various delays.
I have an almost 17 month old son. It's actually funny, my DS was due May 2, 2014 but he ended up coming a few days early. He was born April 26th. This one is due May 11th, and if he/she comes early like my first, their birthdays are going to be right there together. Ironic and terrifying at the same time lol I'm going to be hosting a 2 year old's birthday party when I'm full term.
I'm in the same boat. My DD turns 2 on 5.11 and I am due 5.12...
