Hi all!
Had my first FET (2nd IVF attempt) this afternoon with one grade A embryo and according to the embryologist she did an assist to hatch. I don't think we had this done with our fresh cycle so I was wondering if anyone can shed a little light on this?
Is it common, do they only do it with frozen embryos, why wasn't it done the first time and I'm wishing that they would've done it to begin with!?
BETA is scheduled for the 14th, prayfully this baby decides to stay around and stick!
Well wishes to all in this journey!!
Re: Assist To Hatch
Our fresh cycle did not have assist hatch and our frozen did. Both of our embryos took with the frozen and we are currently 23w with twins.
Good luck and try not to stress too much about it all, which I know is hard. Fx for your bfps!
@MrsBwIVF congrats on your twins, such exciting and amazing news!! Thanks for the info and with the assist to hatch I pray it works for us! We only had one embie to transfer so if this doesn't work we're back to square one.
Although I have read so many success rates with FET at their second try so I'm staying positive!!
Continued prayers for all during this IVF journey!!
