DH really likes the name Lucus but I started reading that a lot of people hear "Mucus." Then I found the name Lucah but am worried about people having a hard time spelling it. Thoughts?
I love Luca. It's not feminine whatsoever and is a great name! No need to add the H. No one would ever spell it right that way.

Definitely Luca or Lucas. I like Lucas better and I never thought mucus. And 9/10 if there's a bad connotation I will think it because I'm like a 7th grade boy when it comes to that crap lol.
Both names in your poll are spelled incorrectly, so I didn't vote. I love the name Luca and it is a popular masculine Italian name. Lucas isn't bad either but people whatever you do, spell them the correct way for your kid's sake. These are common names and people will know that Luca is a boys name even if it ends in an A. Adding a silent letter doesn't make it more manly but it WILL be inconvenient for your son.

Definitely Lucas or Luca. I like Luca slightly better, but both are great. My nephew is Lucas (Luke), and I have never once heard/thought mucus. Kind of a stretch.

I never really cared for Luca on a boy even though I know it's masculine. Probably because an old video game I used to play a ton had a female character named Lucca. I much prefer Lucas anyway. I don't think Mucus would ever be an issue...He could always go by Luke.
I'm glad to see you realized that Lucas was spelt wrong in your original post. I didn't answer your poll because it's misspelled but Lucas gets my vote.

I like Lucas but would choose Luca only because I know Lucas will likely be a very popular name this year (along with Leia). It happens every 15 years or so.
