  • @LisaLelik I 2nd that one too!! I know so many women keep doing it...but my hubs was super opposed to me running because of impact, and it made me kind of nervous so I havent... and fall is the BEST time of year for outdoor runs! :(:(:(
  • @BabyRut2015 - I know! I was keen to carry on running but my hubby was also worried and asked me very nicely to please wait until after. He didn't want me to take any unnecessary risks. So excited ;;)
  • @LisaLelik at least we'll have motivation to stretch our running legs this spring and lose some baby lbs! Lol I've always been an avid runner, so I'm itching to get out.
  • I'm looking forward to drinking wine again and picking back up on my exercise regiment! Mostly of all, I'm looking forward to getting my energy back and feeling like "me"again. With the newest addition, of course! This is my 2nd baby... ♡
  • Paint my toenails, dye my hair, use fake tan and eat anything I want!!!
  • @LizaLelik yessss running too and be a person like any other, people are so compassionate for me and I feel like I have some abnormalities, it drives me crazy :((
  • Not just eating my favorite banned foods, but eating in general. I have so many aversions that I just don't enjoy food anymore, it's such a chore right now. I'm such a big foodie and love trying new and different things, it feels like a part of me is just gone!

    2 Miscarriages
    2 Ectopic Pregnancies
    1 Round of Clomid
    1 Fresh IVF Cycle
    1 Bean and 5 Frosties!
  • I might dye my hair something a little nuts! I'll be off work for 6 months, so I may use the opportunity to like..get some blue tips or something for a few months. I've always dyed my brown hair red every few months when I get bored (the craziest I can get while at work, lol) but since I have no grays I stopped when I got pregnant, so I haven't even been able to do that. As soon as I feel well enough post-baby I think DH's first time alone with her may be while I'm at the salon, LOL.

  • Dye my hair!! I'm finding out exactly how much gray hair I have. :-S

Also, I really want a bologna sandwich of all things & to go back to ordering my steaks less cooked!
  • I'm just anxious to have my body back, nourishing me and ONLY me. I've been pregnant and/or breastfeeding since Jan 2012 and I'm tired.

  • Coffee and wine for sure!!!!
  • Sleeping well and on my stomach! And eating an egg sandwich where the yolk just runsssss. And working out. Just feeling normal again
  • Eat. Food just tastes weird when I'm pregnant, I cannot wait for it to taste normal again!
  • Margaritas, Redds Apple Ale, sleeping on my tummy (which is still not doable afterwards with breastfeeding...) Wearing clothes that fit
  • Get back in shape!!
  • Being able to sleep somewhat comfortably and having whatever I feel like eating.
  • Not just eating my favorite banned foods, but eating in general. I have so many aversions that I just don't enjoy food anymore, it's such a chore right now. I'm such a big foodie and love trying new and different things, it feels like a part of me is just gone!

    this. exactly this. Ugh.
  • You ladies know that running (and exercising in general) does absolutely no harm to your baby and is good for you, right? Also, coloring your hair is considered safe, although I understand why you would want to be cautious about it just in case. I'm looking forward to buying some regular clothing and not getting a bunch of stares and being asked how I'm feeling.
I was going to say the exact same thing. . . . i'm almost 19 weeks and still able to run, although shorter distances at a slower pace, and I feel great doing it!  I understand that your husbands are concerned and that is really sweet.  Have you had a conversation with your doctor about running with your husband present?  That's what I did, and as soon as the doctor said he encouraged me to keep running as long as I can without pain or issue, DH became less stressed about it.  Obviously I take my phone with my when I go for a jog in the neighborhood, and he encourages me to have someone run with me in 5ks, but it seems silly to stop running just because you are pregnant unless a doctor tells you otherwise!
