High-Risk Pregnancy

Intro!

Hey gals! I have lurked on this board a bit and wanted to introduce myself so I can start chiming in now and again. :)

I am a 24yo FTM with UD (uterus didelphys, 2 complete uteruses), CD (cervical didelphys, one cervix connected to each uterus), a complete vertical vaginal septum (starts just inside vaginal canal and stops at the top where the cervixes begin), as well as endometriosis. It took DH and I about a year to conceive, which given the circumstances, was better than expected! I am now 20 weeks pregnant with a little boy in my right uterus! First trimester screening showed low HCG and PAPP-A levels which put me at increased risk for trisomy 18&13 which were later ruled out, baby is perfectly healthy! They suspect the low hormone levels are due to an improperly implanted placenta and expected baby boy to stay on the small side, but so far he is measuring ahead at every ultrasound, and we are hoping that continues! Because of my conditions (along with my hearing loss, collectively referred to as a Mullerian Duct Anomaly) they cannot predict or determine if my uteruses and cervixes are "created equally" so to speak, so MFM checks my cervix for funneling/shortening/dilation every 4 weeks. So far it is holding strong and they have been impressed with how my body is handling this pregnancy! There are a lot of question marks about what will happen as we get further along, but we have been SO fortunate so far that both baby and me and doing great.

Looking forward to getting to know you girls :)
