Is mixing formula's bad?

I supplement my baby with formula because I don't have enough bm but I have a question, can you mix formula brands? I have run out of similac (well have 2 more nursettes) but I had gotten all this free similac and enfamil. Can you change brands? Or is that bad?

I've heard not to switch brands. For lack of a better example, it's like switching up your dog's food, they don't like it.

Ah I see. That makes sense. Luckily I have enough bm and 2 nursettes to get through the day but I figured if anyone had any advice. Thanks ladies!
