Irregular Yolk Sac?

I just got my ultrasound report back today at 8 weeks, my Dr. appt is not until Thursday though. The report says that although the heart rate is strong and the yolk sac size is ok, apparently the yolk sac has an irregular shape. Anybody else had a similar issue?

    They are actually going to make you wait until Thursday before you find out what's going on? You can't call beforehand? OMG...I'd go insane.

    Good news! The Dr. called and said that everything is good and not to worry about the yolk sac shape. Apparently it's not that big of a deal if it's a little different shape than normal (in her opinion). Phew!
