@LCK0830 I feel the same way. Science and technology has come a long way. When I was telling a friend about the PGS testing and how we know the sexes of the 3 embryos she was amazed. I'm amazed at what they can do. It's good to see the positives in all of this.
@HBamama2B I am definitely very achy and stiff from my 'hit by a cab' incident! Trying not to let anything get me down, though. I have a massage tonight after work then taking Tuesday and Wednesday off (transfer tomorrow!) so I really am feeling positive!! Aahhhh!!!
My clinic gave me updates on my embies days 1-3, then when I went in day 5 (this was my fresh cycle in July). However my friend's clinic does not want to 'disturb' the embies so she was not able to get updates....

Well I'm out of ER! So far we know they retrieved 17 eggs. I'm so hopeful that we will receive good news tomorrow when they call with the fertilization report. Fingers crossed!

Wow! What a huge week for us ladies!! So much good luck and sticky beans in the air this week. With the super moon eclipse and the pope and all our great numbers and awesome RE teams I'm feeling a lot of possibility!
@amk0327 I think it depends and could be a symptom of the PIO? Some ladies get it wicked early tho!
@mclorn sorry you're still sore, but you're a trooper! And your ET plan sounds like the best plan ever to me. I need to arrange a massage... They told me the same thing about not "disturbing" the embies and when I pushed they admitted they did a day 3 check just in case they have to change plans. @amk0327 I will be 5 weeks tomorrow too. I feel he same way. I don't think it's the PIO because I was on it for a week before my transfer and it didn't feel like this.

I must say that I love this group... I was in a group on BabyCenter a few years ago when we first got the infertility diagnosis and when I joined the group over there I was appalled to see how negative the women were to each other especially to newbies and to anyone that got a BFP. I was leery about joining another group after that experience, but I'm so happy that I joined this one... nothing but positive and supportive people!

@athompson0308 yeah I have been on it prior too. My upper abs have been super tight and sore too. It feels like I did a killer ab workout (let me tell u.....I have not done any crunches) X_X
@shaylatrice.. I'm glad you are having a positive experience. Nobody should make someone feel bad for getting a BFP. That's what we are here for, right? To support one another and hope for the best for every one of us. I'm glad I joined this group too.
I went for my US and bloodworm and the nurse seemed to think there wouldn't be any delay for the transfer because of the bleeding. 11 days seems like a long time. Whats a few more days, right? Has anyone heard of anyone having problems with the embryo's not making it after thawing from a FET?
@Joyzie77 my understanding is that with the new freezing/thawing methods it is unlikely to have issues.... FX! I was told that when I go in tomorrow for the transfer they will take two out to thaw, which takes 10 minutes or so, then if there is an issue they will grab another from the freezer!
I tried to start a new discussion but not sure I succeeded.... do you ladies have a progesterone check after transfer during your 2ww? I was told it is not beneficial as PIO skews your bloodwork, but it seems like a lot of clinics do this and then adjust your dosage accordingly... is this something I should push for?!

I agree - this group has been amazing! I have a good support system through family and friends but it can be challenging to have an in-depth conversation about medication, follicles, estrogen levels, etc because they don't fully understand the process, which makes sense - I didn't know about it either before all of this.

I got my progesterone levels checked all the way through. I had my first one post transfer after 4 days then again at both the hcg betas. Anything over 10 is good but my Dr's wants a minimum of 20. I was already on PIO but had to start the suppositories because I was at 17. Since then, mine has been near 40. Some drs are specific about what levels they want you at. But when I spoke to the nurse, she said don't worry too much about the numbers. If I were to have conceived on my own, they wouldn't have been checked by my ob. So, I don't think it's a big deal that they don't check know it too often.
I have just been having the excessive saliva,heartburn and headaches as my pregnancy symptoms and my numbers are high!. My Father actually said I won't get morning sickness until later because that is what happen with all 8 of us lol (big Family). Everyone is different and responds differently to 1st trimester woah's.
Did any one have a 2 embryo transfer? I have a big baby bump right now and I was wondering if any of you are having the same thing?

@hbamama2b The Nurses are thinking 2 or 3 my number are high my last beta was just under 1,000. Gestation U/S Oct 9th!!!

196-400= multiples or early implantation (I didn't get a BFP until Sunday before my beta #1) so I don't think that's me.
Our nurses are amazing! She called and talked to us for about 30 min last night and with me showing and my 1st and 2nd betas being so high to start they are laughing and saying we should expect more than one.

Just got my fertilization report back! So it looks like out of the 17 eggs only 11 fertilized. Not as high as I thought but still a good number of embryos! Hopefully we will have at least a couple good ones out of that bunch:)

I also have mediation session with my good friend and yogi/nutritionist/doula. She helped me before the ER so I'm gonna try it again since it worked so well last time!! Other than that I'll be working from home and obsessively checking on my bump buddies thorough out the day. Only 24 more hours! Gah!
@HBamama2B I'm actually feeling pretty good! Still a little bloated and crampy, but not too bad! The nurse that called me today said that I will either do a 3 day ET or a 5 day depending on how the little embryos do! I'm hoping for a 5 day. We decided not to do PGS only because our insurance didn't cover it and this is our first ivf. Also with me being under 30 my doctor said it would be ok to try a round without it. But I would definitely consider it if we end up having to do multiple rounds! And no worries I didn't post any of this before!:) are you doing PGS?
