newbie/OPK/long cycle

hey everyone!
This is my first time posting here! And I without a doubt have "baby on the brain"! DH and I have been trying for our first child for a few months now. I have been off BC for 1.5 yrs. Since we've been TTC i have noticed my cycles have been approx. 40 days in length. So as you can imagine it was very hard to track my O. This month I used OPK, and on cycle day 30 I got a positive OPT. And i could totally feel my body ovulating! Anyone out there with long cycles as well? Or anyone that have been using OPK?

Hi and welcome! I've been using OPKs. I've only just been off BC since July 1st and am on my second cycle. We travelled when I supposedly ovulated according to my Fertility Friend app and I didn't have OPKs with me to confirm. Looking forward to confirming ovulation with this cycle with OPKs. It's a fun journey collecting all this data!
