2 days late and cramping??

Hi there, quick question. I had a TR in March, ttc since then - Im 38, worried now that I'm late (2 days now and I'm rarely late) and it could be a possible tubal pregnancy with the late start and cramps. I'm taking a test tomorrow morning if I still don't get it to see what it will say. And will call the dr if its positive - Has anyone had pretty bad cramps and just had it be late or wound up pregnant normally regardless of the cramps? I always see people say mild cramps, but mine are pretty bad. Although not "the worst" how I normally feel they are. I'm worried

Thanks @C_Girlie and @thistle8677. AF came in the middle of the night. I bought the test and decided to wait for morning just for the whole "best result" thing. Its ok though. Now on to more trying. Thank you so much for the well wishes!
