Yes I tend to prefer it as a nickname for Penelope but I don't hate it as a standalone and I love it with Louise

I love the idea of it, but I struggle to picture it on a grown woman. Adorable on a child or an old lady, but in between it gets iffy. It could be a lot worse though!

Yeah I'm not digging it for an adult name. Cute though for a baby or toddler. I think she should have went with Georgia after her dad and grandad. Maybe Georgia Poppy.

I think Poppy is what they all called her grandfather. If that's the case, I like the family tie. Agree the name doesn't age well, but time will tell. Also, I heard Louise is a family name for either Jenna or her husband, and Lewis is a family name for the other. So Louise is perfect

I think the rules of a name holding someone back go away with a pedigree like that. I doubt THIS Poppy will ever have a problem getting her resume seen, but mine might.

I love Poppy as a nickname, but it is a bit cutesy for me as a given name. Overall I like it and it flows well with Louise.
