Stuffy Nose

Any suggestions to help clear LOs stuffy nose? I've been using the suction bulb thing and humidifier.

You can use saline drops to help break it apart before you suction.

I got this thing called a nose Frida where you basically siphon the snot out...it has a filter...haven't tried it yet or needed to, fortunately

I saw the nose frida but I don't think my LO will keep still long enough. I have to sneak in the suction bulb, she hates it.

I'm a STM who LOVES the nose frieda!!!!! Seriously, it works so much better than those stupid bulb syringes, those tips are way too large to fit in a baby's nostril. Just have help holding the baby's head still and it's like magic. Promise!!!!

Yes, Nose freida 100% better than the bulb thing. It works well and lets you see what is suctioned out. We love ours, baby likes it more too.

I have a nose Frida. Tried it once... Maybe I'm not doing it right. When I look in my LOs nostrils, I can see boogers way up there. I tried to suck them out to no avail. And the bulb suction didn't work either... Ugh! It's probably me

Did you use the saline drops? I've been able to get the high boogers after using saline drops.

Like many other uses on here for breast milk, this is another one. My midwife told me about it after I had my second son. She said your breast milk has all the enzymes baby needs and it works the same as saline drops but also helps if they actually have a cold to help them get over it faser. Just a couple drops in each nostril at a time.
