@AdorkablePixie - I live in Costa Mesa, CA. I love San Diego too - just an hour or so south of me.
@paisleybrown - I am glad that the shot wasn't as bad as you expected. I have the same problem....I get so worked up about doing shots, apts, you name it...it never seems as bad as I thought it would be!
@Colleen0516 - I am right there with you on IVF...I went in to get my meds for my 6th and final IUI on Saturday. The doctor was a total downer. She said that I better hurry to make the IVF decision and even questioned doing this last round of IUI. She's a new doctor there and I've only seen her twice. But, I had to tell her this was my last round covered by insurance. Good lord, I couldn't believe how downer she was....then, she tried to lessen my Menopur dosage because last time I have 4 mature follicles and she didn't want me to end up with multiples. I told her it was my last round with IUI so I'd like to just go for it, which she agreed to do. It was one odd convo.
@KareChristine - We have MFI as well and I am just old or my eggs are anyway...well, there just aren't a huge amount. I know how that feels. I will be excited to hear how your IVF goes. Fill me in. I have a very strong feeling that we'll be starting that soon too. I am excited for you and I will be sending good thoughts your way!!!
3. My favorite summer activity is just being outside (playing with my dog, getting to the beach, having fires in the evening).
4. First IVF, CD 15. Have been on Lupron for 10 days, Follistim and Menapur for 9. A whopping 4 injectables a day! Fun! Had US this morning and expected to trigger tonight. Waiting to hear from the nurse.The RE may want to wait one more day to allow the smaller follies to catch up. The more the merrier, right?

@AMT&THC Thanks so much.I need the good thoughts today. For some reason today is the most emotional I've been this whole cycle. I think I'm just getting worn out trying to be so strong. Or maybe its the estradiol?? lol I dunno, everything is going as expected, just have a day I guess.

@krbjoy Thanks for the complement and thank you for the well wishes. I know how those hard days feel. The emotions just spill out. I always chalk it up to the drugs. I think it just makes me feel better to think that with out the drugs, I'd be in complete control as usual yeah right Hang in there!

Cbowden12 that's a very good point. I have a lot of dogs that I really like. They all differ so much. That's a great job. I feel like animals really help keep your feelings happy and upbeat.
krbjoy That's cool! We wanted to get married on the 11 but the place I had my heart set on for the venue was already booked that day and they gave us a discount for getting married on a Sunday so we went with it.
AMT&THC I'm not positive but I actually think my aunt has taken me there before! She just got a new house in San Diego, so I may visit her over the winter at some point, or in the spring once my cousin moves back home from college.

Where are you in your treatment? I'm doing an HSG in a couple of weeks, and more blood tests, and my DH is doing tests, and then if all is well, we'll try our first IUI in September.

3. Favorite summer time activity besides TTC: My favorite anytime activity is traveling (currently planning a trip to Hawaii).
4. Where are you in your treatment? I had my BFP on June 30th after my fourth round of clomid with trigger shot, estradiol and IUI. MC on Tuesday. So I suppose I'm in the heart break part of my treatment Our next step if the clomid round was a BFN was supposed to be IVF so when my next AF comes I'll meet with my RE and see if that's still what she suggests.

You should all be very careful about what you share here or anywhere online for that matter. I just had a very awkward & creepy experience with some women on another board here on the bump, all because I told one of the regulars that I did not respect her opinion or rude sense of humor, therefore her posts on my threads were unwelcome. I received huge outrage & emotional over reaction from maybe 20 or 30 of the regulars in that group & I found it seriously concerning & disturbing. There are many internet creepers who may not have the best of intentions...so please be careful ladies.
Lol I suppose every group of women are different and this is a very peaceful group, but you just never know just look out for yourselves and know not everyone has the best intentions. In my birth club group on another online forum many women have been busted out for not even being pregnant, lying about having premature babies, stealing ultrasound pictures and pictures of babies etc off of blogs. It's crazy. You just never now who is sitting on the other end of a computer.

It's easy to think everyone in a group that you are use to is wonderful & most of the time they are, but what happened a few days ago really opened my eyes! I know most people do use common sense online but with reverse google images & all sorts of tricks I don't know about because I'm not computer savvy, you can never be too careful. I didn't mean offense & didn't mean to imply anyone here didn't have common sense. I'm sorry if I came across that way.

Wow!! Are you serious? People lie about being pregnant and steal ultrasound pics online? That is so crazy.
Haven't you seen any of the stories on the news or the lifetime channel movies about women pretending to be pregnant, then befriending another pregnant woman or setting her up somehow & actually cutting the baby out of the expectant mother ? These things happen in real life. And what happened in the other group & the way those women reacted just turned on a lot of alarm bells for me. It simply wasn't normal and thoroughly creeped me out. I know that most people are good here & genuinely care for the other members and are here to help, but you just honestly never know who is on the other end of a computer. So just be careful everyone about personal information, pictures etc. I know everyone has common sense but some people are really crafty in their ways.
