  • Yes! I read every 7 pages until I got to 29... It was just to much. But hi ya'll.
  • I would love to buy a Doppler this pregnancy! Where's the best place to buy? I got
I got my Fetal Doppler B from Amazon. You can also get one at fetaldopplers.net
  • I think it's all good if you don't read the whole thing.  But welcome to the random @ACleanLife24, glad to see you back.

We went over to our new house yesterday and they are mostly done putting up drywall.  And they put up the porch railing and our stonework.  I am getting so freakin' excited!  October 23 can't come soon enough!

  • That's awesome.  We really wanted to do new construction when we bought.
Are you all packed and ready to move?

Speaking of which....our cousins are arriving shortly to visit for a few days and I really need to do linens and vacuum instead of just lying around watching TV with my toddler.

We are living with my in-laws right now - have been for the past 4 months.  So that's fun.  Again, I am so ready to move it's not even funny.  Most of our stuff is in a storage unit.

  • So tomorrow is our first U/S I'm so freaking nervous I haven't been in an U/S room since finding out about our MMC in March, on a positive note my MS has started, I threw up in the shower this morning.  I take it as a good sign ha ha.

Gah I remember that first ultrasound after the MMC.  So nerve wracking.  And each pregnancy at the same time that nerve wracking feeling doesn't go away.  Good luck!  I hope you have a really great ultrasound and hb is in the 180s!!!

  • My newest craving is Chicken in a Biskit crackers. The thought of chicken-flavored crackers is so disgusting. Who made that up? But the taste is oh so delicious. And bonus: my kids hate them, so they won't steal them! (Like they did with the cheese-its I bought last week!)

Good luck tomorrow, @bntfroggie! The waiting is the worst!!!

  • Today is a day I'm struggling with the working mom guilt thing.  My son's school had an open house/cafeteria menu sample day and MIL took him.  These are the things I want to be able to do but I can't because I'm working.  Yeah, I'm making sure I'm taking him to his first day on Friday but I wish I had the flexibility to do them all.  Pity party done.

I was there yesterday when I dropped DS off. He normally doesnt get upset but it was monday and he was grumpy and it wasn't his normal teacher in the class at the moment. He screamed and cried and grabbed my shirt. She basically had to peel him off me when I left. Even though I know he was over it in a few minutes it still makes you feel like crap.

This morning at drop off I could barely get a hug and kiss bye.

    The struggle is real. :)

  • I'm ready for fall, crock pot dinners, sweaters, boots, cute jeans, being cozy, stormy day, and some rain! Living in the PNW & having the super dry summer is killer. I truly am from Washington when I complain about it being 90 degrees out.
  • I am seriously addicted to sweet tarts and sweet tart sours candies........can't stop eating them....

@bntfroggie at least you were in a convenient place to throw up? :)

@mrspepper05 chicken n a biskit crackers are amazing.

I went to the grocery store with LO after work to get something to make for dinner. Everything sounded awful so I ended up with the most random cartful of food - chocolate milk, crackers, cheese whiz, Nutella, butternut squash... And so on. Blegh
  • @ndgraham I live in central New York and it hit 90 this week for only the second time all summer. (Our temperatures usually average between 75-85) I am so unimpressed. I was not cut out for hot weather even when I wasn't pregnant and morning sick. I say bring on the cider donuts, Apple picking and football.

Is it sad that I've already searched a bazillion times on Pinterest things like 'fall maternity fashion' and 'cute pregnancy outfits for fall'? I'm so excited to dress my bump and actually feel comfortable in the temperature instead of sweating like an albino rhino in the New England heat!

  • I'm going to Disney world at 20 weeks. Any do's and dont's for Disney while pregnant?

When are you going?! We are going Halloween weekend.

Have you ever been to Disney World not pregnant?  Fair warning ... We are Disney People and I could talk your ear off. I hope you are swinging through Epcot for Food and Wine Festival

    Back to your question though
We are meeting my inlaws there and they are bringing two cases of water so we can put them in a soft cooler and put them in our stroller.. It saves money and I can drink and stay hydrated without paying 3$ a bottle... They will allow you to do two things if staying on the Disney World Property ... Ship a case of water (and any other non travel essential sundries ie: Diapers) to your hotel and they will hold them for you .. You can private message me if you want more tips and tricks otherwise I could hijack this whole thread with stuff. (We just went last weekend for the day at 10 weeks , we also go mutliple times a year)

  • Caught up on 8+ pages. Whew! That was great. I'm now starving in bed and really want these green chilli fries you all are raving about, but am far too lazy to even think about getting up.

I really need to keep TB open on my work computer so I can keep up, but I'm so afraid people will catch me on it and I'm not ready to share.

And lastly, good luck tomorrow @bntfroggie! Agree on the feeling of your first u/s since MMC. It was so eerie being in the same room and I bawled when we heard the heartbeat. They were tears of sadness of missing baby #1 and running through the "what ifs" in my head, but also happy tears for a healthy baby #2. I'm still so scared though. Trying to stay positive!

  • Some how, after joining 4 weeks ago or so and stalking the pages every day, I managed to miss this thread. Just found it this morning and have been reading it when ever I get the chance. 31 pages and going strong :)

So, who, other than me, hasn't been to Disney world?
And definitely looking forward to Halloween. First year living in Texas so we can dress as we want, instead of dressing for 40 degree weather. Plus, Ms will hopefully, fingers crossed, be gone so I can make some yummy treats with my 2 year old.
  • Halloween is my favorite! I can't wait. My DD's favorite show is Jake and the Neverland Pirates so I'm thinking I'll have just the right size belly to be Cubby. She'll be Izzy and DH will be Jake.
  • That sounds cute! No idea yet what we will do but it will be fun either way. Last year we went out to two houses before little one was to cold. This year we will go till either he or I are to tired.
