Yuck! I hate grape. A long time ago when DH and I were first dating he told me to take a bite of a color changing popsicle. It was pink in color, but flavored grape. I was in such shock I accidentally spit it out in his face. Thankfully he LOVES grape so I'v got that one covered. He always picks the grapes out for me. :)

@jlavo888 i love everything else just not the brown chips. i do think the pretzels are my fave though

I always wanted a best friend that would eat the whites of my eggs, the non brown chips of my bag, and all the purple and orange's of my candies.

I hate pretzels. The rest are awesome though! And orange and purple are my fave candy flavors in every candy. Skittles, tootsie pops, everything

I *had* a very similar insurance plan (one $15 copay and $150 copay when I deliver and they cover everything else) which was awesome! BUT my husbands union just agreed to change our plan to a HSA with deductibles and maximums etc. And this starts Jan 1st! I'm sooo pissed! You are so lucky and I'm happy for you!

OMG, I hope my company doesn't change ethis year!! EEK!!

Oh, here's some icing on the cake (which sounds yucky at the moment)...the company offers 22 weeks of 100% paid maternity leave.

Feel free to punch my lights out....I know its coming...

I'm kind of sad all of my pregnancy chick flick binge watching movies are packed in storage.  Father of the Bride 2, Backup Plan, Juno, What to Expect When You're Expecting...I'm going to have to wait until November to get them out.
I'm watching the season of Friends where Rachel is pregnant on Netflix! Pretty good fix other than wanting to shoot yourself in the face because her first trimester she looks NO DIFFERENT haha. Wtf.

What?!?  So jealous!!  I'm praying our company gets the hint from other giant companies and starts a long maternity leave.  We just have the standard 6 weeks pp (although I do really like the up to 4 before delivery).

Yes true, although I can't help but love her as well. It's a complicated relationship.
I know, I love her. Its funny though, my DH thinks Courteney Cox is better looking (with Jennifer Aniston an obvious close second). She's gorgeous don't me wrong, but caman. Its RACHEL. RACHEL!!

I've been so lucky NOT to gag on DS's diapers.  He always seems to poop when I'm around, but they don't smell too awful.  The way DH reacts to them, you'd think he has the morning sickness.

  • Just got some red beans and rice started for dinner, and boy, preparing food is such a chore right now :(  I love to cook, and this is why being pregnant drives me crazy.  In the first trimester, I'm too ill to cook (and some of the second too).  By the second trimester, I get really light headed cooking.  And of course by the third trimester, being near the stove is a belly hazard lol.  Drat...

I just found out I get $80 RT flights anywhere in the domestic US through my work. I have worked here for almost a year and did not know this.

  • My doctors office called...apparently, there's a lady whose job it is to call insurance companies and verify coverage. She said she spent over half an hour on the phone with my insurance company alone!! I never want her job!! Anyway, she told me that my copay for ALL prenatal visits is $20. I thought for sure she meant $20 per visit. But no, she meant $20 for prenatal care...TOTAL! That's INSANE! Then she told me that the delivery would be a $250 copay if there are no complications. WHAT?!! OMG, it gets better...apparently, my tests are covered 100%. The one we just did for Cystic Fibrosis....I don't pay a dime?! I'm in shock!! Someone slap me, this can't be real. Yes, I'm bragging, I admit it. I just don't know what to do with myself now. WOW!!!!

That is awesome! But I'm totally gonna one up you, I got a letter in the mail from my insurance that all pregnancy and delivery costs are covered 100%. DH was in shock. He went to the ER twice last year, both ended up costing over $1500, I went in January and got an MRI, it only cost $100. I hate my job right, but damn do they provide awesome insurance. Actually, I love where I work but I'm pissed about scheduling and some personnel issues at the moment.

So I left a snarky message (after not getting a call back Mon or Tues) on the nurses line about my blood draw results from last week and lo and behold I finally got a call back. (All normal, btw)

I have a feeling this could either be a really good decision or I'm going to hate my life, but she convinced me that it was just a couple of flukes and to stick with the office.

The only reason I even agreed is because I love the nurse that called me back. She is so sweet and reassuring and I've liked this dr the other two times I've seen her for a pap and to talk about IF issues, but the office staff...not so much. I will concede that my doc was out on vacation when all of this nonsense went down, but I find is discomforting that the office falls apart without her there.

So now I'm either going to be treated (reluctantly I'm sure) like VIP or it'll be a shame on me for getting duped again situation. I have an US and appt with my dr on Saturday so we shall see how it goes.

  • If you haven't tried eating frozen blueberries, you're seriously missing out.

AND an added bonus: try putting said frozen blueberries in a bowl and adding some milk. The milk becomes frozen-ish and the whole things becomes a delicious slushy-like bowl of happiness. 8->

Edit to add: can you tell I get super excited when I find a food that doesn't make me gag?!

I just dug a bag of frozen blueberries out of the freezer. They are one of my daughter's favorite snacks, but I want them now!

Sometomes i wonder if I'm truly experiencing cravings right now. My theory is I just think of a type of food and if thinking of it doesn't make me nauseous then I want it right away because I'm often very hungry. :-D
  • I had a dream last night that a random person bought blue onesies for raspberry and gave me a note saying she intended to harm the baby. I took the note to the police and they were like "what is that problem". I was trying to convince them that the baby was in danger and they just didn't care. Still can't shake the feeling that something is wrong with the baby. My appoint is Friday, so hopefully my fears will be calmed.

I have been having super weird dreams too! Not violent but super weird. Usually I never remember them. I hope they go away soon so you can get some good sleep!

I've been on plevic rest for the past week, and have been unable to have sex! (DH and I are dying right now) So I had a dream my Dr had actually sewn my V shut until the baby came. I woke up sobbing in a cold sweat!
