high risk!!

I don't understand how I can be denied short term disability when the doc says its high risk...I am 43 , had 3 mc in last 4 years...can't do my job..as I am a mechanic with 12 hour shifts. Had a small tear in the placenta last week and they say there is not enough evidence to support a high risk claim???? I don't understand..how can the ins. Over rule a doctor???? Someone explain this to me like I'm a five year old...ugh!!!

Can you get a second opinion? I'm currently on couch potato rest and its definitely short term disability!

I'd try appealing their decision.

I'm definitely going to appeal it...ins. Company's make me so angry...they never want to pay... FYI..this is metlife I'm dealing with...
