Potty training... Thoughts?

Re: Potty training... Thoughts?

  • @niknak1208 maybe she's just not ready yet?
  • I'm wondering the same thing which makes me even more irritated with school because it was kind of forced on us. The ER doc said well maybe back off potty training but she's already in the preschool room two days a week. Honestly I feel like well as long as she can pee in the potty at school.. Then she's fine there. She's there from 8:15am until 3pm two days a week. I haven't been super hard on her at home for that very reason.. I feel like it may have been too much too soon. Ugh my poor girl.

  • Hey @niknak1208 how did it all turn out? :)
  • we are STILL struggling!!  Currently, she's on probiotics twice a day. Iodine supplements. 2 drops twice a day. She's in school Monday and Wednesday. So Wednesday afternoon we start magnesium citrate through Saturday night to clean her out. Then none through Wednesday so she can eat at school without pooping her pants all the time.

    Limited dairy. Limited sugar. Electrolytes.

She still won't go. We had labs done about a month or so ago .. Maybe two months now and checked everything. That was BAD. The tech was just not good and she was poked way too many times. All came back normal except low on zinc and iodine. That's when iodine supplements started.

Repeat labs tuesday of this week. Dropping off a urine sample this morning.

really hoping for answers. I am so very tired of watching my baby scream with belly pain and throw up. It's awful. Not to mention very disruptive. She hates being in diapers but when she's on mag citrate she has to be because she can't control her bowels and it's like diarreah. But if you don't give it her.. She hardly goes.

I do think the idodinr supplements are helping a bit. She seems to try to go more often at least.

Just st want it to end. It's so not fun.
