elecare poop question!!

Hi all... my son has been on elecare due to mspi for almost 2 weeks. His demeanor seems better and he doesn't appear to be in as much pain as he was on nutramigen. However, his poo is so weird! Sometimes it's almost orange looking, VERY runny and there are strings of mucous in it as well.....

Anyone else experienced this, should I be concerned? Calling the doc in the morning for peace of mind.

U have no experience, but it sounds like something you should seek medical help for just in case

Sounds like my daughters poo recently. However she just got done with a cold so the doctors said the mucus just goes through them and thats why its stringy. The orange can be from extra iron in rhat formula ( we get orange from vitamins we give her).

Did you have 2 mmonth shots recently? That changes poo for a little while too

Yes shots were last monday. Dr said not to be concerned unless there's blood.... poor lil guy has had a rough almost 10 weeks. Praying it gets better. Thanks for your input!!

Ya the retrovirus vaccine can cause the poo to change for it goes to the intestinal tract. Make sure to wash your hands oost diaper clean as some of the virus could be in there...i assume yoy wash your hands but hey figured i would say it in case
