Calliou is the worst child! Also, ugh to Dora. My daughter loved her till about 4, then moved on. Thank goodness.

Side note: Peep and the Big Wide World is very bearable, and I even laugh.

Random Thought: My dad is a twin - he and his brother both had their first kid at the same time. My cousin and I are three days apart. She already has a DD who is six. I'm flying out to see that side of my family in early August and it's a surprise. I asked my cousin to pick me up at the airport a couple weeks ago. Found out today that she's expecting, again. I'm excited because I knew she was going to start trying around Sept. but I guess that little one decided to stick early! And now I'm all like but who is going to lift my suitcase? lmaoooo

@KaraEpp16 I would totally read a Neville Longbottom HP spin off. I would also love a prequel about Harry's parents during the first fight against Voldemort. We watched the first two movies on Netflix this weekend and will work on watching the remainder, but watching them definitely reminds me that the books are better and the movies leave out some good stuff.

Just bought a k'tan carrier from another mom. Super pumped for it because though I have a becco and a couple slings, I wanted a soft carrier for newborn stage. I put a baby doll in it and walked around to try it out.
As I held the "baby" with my other two running around I simultaneously had the same thought of "I can't wait" and "holy shit, what am I doing?!?"

While not sleeping last night, because I basically don't sleep anymore, I had this terrible realization that I'm having a baby! It was like, holy cow...I can't take care of another human, what have I done?

Super fun way to try and fall asleep :-q

I finally broke down and bought baby stuff today. Now I'm on a bargain high after finding so many good things on clearance in Target and Marshalls. So thankful I don't know if I'm having a boy or a girl or it could have been so much worse.

I'm 14w3d and the idea of buying anything seems absurd,like this baby is a lifetime away and what will I need anyways; some diapers, a onesie, a drawer for the kids to sleep in and a towel to wrap him in? I have zero sense of urgency.

Thanks @KaraEpp16 , I'm so glad you get it. @SisterSunshine, you got me with "a drawer for the kids to sleep in". I am a really thrifty person and have a mental list of things I'll buy if I see it for an incredible deal. I hate the idea of registering for $35 muslin blankets when I can buy the exact same ones for $16. Being a PGAL makes me terrified to buy baby stuff though so today was big for me.

There is a Harry Potter collection sale on Zulily right now under baby and maternity. They have baby onesies that say "muggle" on them, among lots of other things that I want to buy, but probably shouldn't.

@beverly0628 I can't find the HP collection! But this has progressed to me looking through all the different baby collections and I want to buy ALL THE THINGS!  Such cute stuff.

@beveryly0628 I found it literally the second after I told you I couldn't lol. Thank you!!!  I'm currently loving the Halloween collection despite the fact that it'll be like 15 months before this baby would wear any of it!

Marshalls. They had aden & anais on clearance. When I went to Target ( across the street) they had the exact same design for $35. I wish they had more that would pass for unisex.

Man, I wish this app wasn't so buggy so I could be on here more! I miss all of the drama! As for this thread:

- LOVE Harry Potter. My best friend is currently at HP World with her family and I'm super excited for them and super jealous.
- FSoG is triggery for me because I was in a controlling, manipulative relationship and just no. (Not saying don't talk about it but it gets zero love from me.)
- All of this "Hammer" talk makes me feel like we're being guarded by Thor.
- I don't have the slightest idea how to post pics or gifs. I've seen the tutorial floating around but I have enough trouble being randomly signed out.
- Thank you for explaining the mass exodus, etc. I wasn't on any Bump boards prior to getting pregnant so I have no idea what's gone on before.

I think that was all of the major topics.

@vvitchhazel I just searched and read through your post about being sun burned and not feeling well. I didn't get burned but I'm very sun sensitive and wonder if I was in the heat too long today. I'm SUPER hot and shaking. Ugh ( did you end up calling your doctor?

Yeah. Evidently this escalade had been sitting in the parking lot for about a week. One of my coworkers said it started to smell so he tried to look in the windows, but they were super tinted so he couldn't see much of anything. He came back into the store (I work in a grocery store chain pharmacy) and got security and store mgmt and they called police. They went back outside and the cops were roaring in sirens and lights blaring. Thru broke a window and there was a bloated guy in the back seat. He said there was a liquor bottle and he suspects suicide (drink until passed out and die of heat stroke). The tags are from about an hour away. The news is reporting suspicious death. Another gal that works in the store said the vehicle was facing the other direction about 5 days ago so that's weird. Nobody thought anything of the car because it was way out where employees park (there are about 400 on the store total, so we can't know everybody's cars by sight) so people just assumed it was maybe an employee's car. Yeah, cops got here about 90 minutes ago and still no coroner and the car and everything is still here. I hope it's gone by the time I'm off in an hour fifteen. I do not want to see that.

I took my kids to a pool today after my OB checkup. I put sunblock on all of us every rest period and we still all got burned. Tomorrow is going to suck!

My kids have never seen that show with the annoying kid, and never ever will.

DH is snoring next to me, I'm irrationally irritated.

My DH just pointed out I have a couple stretch marks. I am 16w1d and have stayed the same weight ...Why?!

He said it in such a loving way, "Awe, your first stripes." I guess it's better than being an ass about it, but really... Already? I am going to bed now to dream about what I'll look like in 24 weeks. Geez.

@essentialpeace that is kinda sweet, but honestly shhhhhhh about the stretch marks right!?! Let's just pretend they aren't there. I already have some and also haven't gained much (maybe 2 pounds). I knew I would, I always got them during growth spurts and when I started lifting weights. Mine have always faded, hoping pregnancy won't be an exception to that!
