when do you start to get the white line going down your belly, I am 9 weeks and my family believes I am wrong about my last period. I have already noticed it this week and there is no timeline anywhere I didn't know if that was a timely thing or different for everyone , thank you in advance ! No rude comments please.

I think you mean linea nigra? It's a dark line, not a white line. I can't remember when mine showed up, but it was after 20+ wks. It's different for everyone, though.

I read it's usually 2nd trimester, but it's caused by an increase of estrogen and progesterone so I don't see why it couldn't happen at 9 weeks?

I don't think I got mine until my 2nd trimester. But, I was pregnant at the same time as a lighter skinned friend and she didn't get one. She said it was more noticeable in darker skinned women. Who knows. Lol

It's a white line first linea alba most people don't see it and then turns to linea nigra a darker one according to everything I have seen. If that means anything it is a white line.

I didn't get one until late pregnancy past time, but the bump weekly calendar said people can start getting it around 11 weeks?

With my first baby I got the line under my belly button at around 6 months. After my first mine never went entirely away. But I am on my fourth pregnancy and my eldest is 6.

I've got my linea nigra already @12 weeks. But I'm olive toned & I've read darker people get it earlier.

I'm olive-complected and thought I noticed that line on my own belly today (11+2) but turns out I'm just hairier than I thought lol "> #Italianproblems

TB says it can start as early we 11 weeks. At least, that's what I read on my 11 week update. 11+1 I started to see the faintest dark line. TB blows my mind sometimes.
