I had a C-section on 7/2. I have been having body aches like you might when you have the flu. No fever that I have noticed. I do get hot and cold, more cold. Anybody experienced this? I don't remember having this with my first C-section.
With my first 2 I remember having horrible chills for weeks after. They were so bad that it would literally stop me in my tracks when I'd get up to change the baby. It was almost like I'd sweat while I was sleeping and walking to get the baby would cause a draft that would make me colder than I've ever been in my life.
I'm prepared this time... i have a heavy robe.
I don't remember any aches... then again- I have fibromyalgia and achiness is the norm for me.
I have been having chills and having hot flashes as well. Not as bad as the first couple weeks though. I figured it is normal since our body is probably still whack from the pregnancy and birth haha but I would ask your doctor if it gets pretty bad. It might also be the pain medication. I shook pretty bad and also had chills pretty bad with it. I took it the first 4-5 days.
Just had my third c/s and no achiness. I might call my doctor although they say pretty much everything is "normal" besides huge clots or unbearable pain. Does Motrin do anything for it?
I had my c-section on 7/8. Achiness, hot flashes that make me sweat terribly, chills, and my lower body has been extremely swollen with edema, in fact, I gained wait after the surgery before I started losing anything, and the weight loss (water loss!) didn't even start until about a week after my little man was born. Fortunately, it all seems to be getting better.
