Just had mine and now I'm being referred to mfm because the nuchal fold was thick? It was normal at nt scan at 12 weeks but now they said it measured 5.1mm and the new Dr can't get me in till Aug.21 ( I'm trying not to panic but that's a long time to worry.
Getting our scan on August 6th, this Thursday and will be 22w So excited to see our Lil boy again & DH hasn't been able to come to a scan as he's been away in the army. Mow he can finally come and it's even more exciting.. And for my lil sausage to see his baby brother
We had our scan about a week ago, but I just realized this thread was here lol. Baby is on perfect health and we found out we're having a girl! She was kicking up a storm and we got to see her smile and wave at us. It was truly an amazing experience ">
@minceys4 that is a long time to wait! Hopefully all is well and it's just ruling out a concern. There have been some recent threads for mamas with a bit of concern after their A/S, have you posted in there? Might find some ladies who have been thru something similar. Best wishes!!
No I haven't posted in there but I have used the search function seeing if I could find anything similar... I'm trying to take everyone's advice and stay positive and quit googling.
I was SO relieved after several past miscarriages and some bleeding freakouts that this baby is a healthy boy!!! And he's apparently a ninja--the u/s tech had to be super fast to get all of the pics. My husband was in awe, he hasn't "seen" the baby since my 9 week u/s. I will say though, it is SUPER weird to know that I have a tiny penis growing inside of me.
I had my scan yesterday and we confirmed that she's definitely a girl, and she's definitely healthy! In fact, the doctor called her a "textbook perfect baby." Not sure how she'll ever live up to that label!
We discovered yesterday its a baby boy! A very active one at that... We were al surprised because we were all convinced it was going to be a girl we are blessed either way
Mines is scduled for tomarrow but dont think ill be making it i cant afford my copays and ded with both my dr and specialist since my work hours were cut. I'll have to wait until i can get some assistance to help me cuz im drowning in medical bills and specialist since im a high risk. Dont wanna be stressed but im really stressed.
So glad I came here and read the positive, healthy results also. I have my scan on 8/10 and all of the recent posts about abnormalities has me totally freaked out. Praying for a healthy beb.
I'm only having my anatomy test at 22nd week. I assume this was because of the holidays. Do I have to worry? is there a reason why they had me wait 2 weeks? ?
@sgancho I have read some other women on here that have had their a/s in the 22nd week. I think different docs just have different routines. If you're doc told you to schedule for week 22, I wouldn't worry.

@1sttymemommy2b2015 have you asked the billing department about payment plans? Seeing that you are high risk I would hate to see you wait too long to be seen by the doctor.
Finalllllly had my anatomy scan. Everything looked good. Tech said he was most definitely a boy, which we already knew. She wasn't able to get a good view of his facial features so we will go back in two weeks to try again. She also saw a subchronic hematoma (sp?). Which I had assumed was from a day of bleeding followed by about 4 days of this nasty dark brown discharge, that we were told was just from a day of hiking while we were on vacation in Vegas. (because it was 100+ degrees) But we have to go see someone else about that.
Finally got our ultrasound! Everything checked out. We will have a gender reveal this weekend. The doctor said this baby is in the 92nd percentile! Eek! Big baby...
Baby was great! They were really concerned with my bladder though. It looked like a needle stretching from my bladder to uterus. The doctor was stumped and had to do a transvaginal ultrasound, sigh. Everything came back normal though so that's a plus!
Mine is tomorrow!! I'm beyond excited to find out what we are having but super nervous for the scan! I'm a FTM so this whole thing is new to me. Wish us luck!
Had my scan and my baby boy was very uncooperative with his positioning. All he did was flash us his boy bits (we already knew it was a boy) and then turned away. I'll have to return for part 2 next week to finish checking 2 more organs.
Doc said the baby looked great. Very active with a good heart rate. He was transverse so we got a good look at his manly bits. Doc said they were pretty sizable.
I had a gender scan at 16 weeks (it's a boy!) but just had my 20 week anatomy scan and he's looking perfect and healthy too! And stubborn lol he kept pushing against the ultrasound tech when she pushed down lol.
