DD is 18 months and seems to have a heat rash on her face (it looks like it at least, it's all small red bumps). I have been wiping it clean and drying it several times a day and also putting aquaphor on it. Is there anything else I should be doing?
My DD got a rash with a pacifier (on her chin). So we would dry it and apply aquaphor as a barrier to the moisture. I wouldn't think a barrier applies to a heat rash. I try not to use ointments and such.

My pedi told me to use cornstarch for a heat rash on her body. Seems to be working and helping with itching. Although, she has another rash on her side that requires an rx cream.
You apply only cornstarch to the rash? It is not mixed with anything? Her skin also started getting a little dry so I've been applying honest company face moisturizer for babies at every diaper change and it's almost completely gone now
