Piercings and Breastfeeding

Hello, Ladies! Question: I have nipples piercings. I plan on switching the metal ones for plastic shortly. To those who's breastfed, did you have piercings and how did they affect breastfeeding for you?

I think I would keep them out when breastfeeding and only have them in for enjoyment when baby isn't around  

But, I will say, nipples change a lot once you start breastfeeding, so you may not even feel like keeping the piercings in and find your nipples are more sensitive than in the past. I often feel touched out and don't even want my partner going near my nipples!
