General feelings?
What if dad's name is Nicholas? I'm not big on naming kids after a parent (seems vain to me) but I didn't realize Colette is a feminized version of the name until I looked up the meaning and saw they were the same. Just musing but I do like the NN Coco for a baby and Letty after that.

Never would've crossed my mind that it was a feminine version of Nicholas.
Cole and Colette is too much
Nicholas and Colette is cute

Edited: I brought it up to my husband and his reply was, "Nicorette like the smoking gum?" Ugh!
Not crazy about the nicknames but also I think it will be hard for you to bank on one nn as a baby and then changing it as she gets older. The first one could stick, especially if other family members get used to it. Call her a nickname that you like best from the start!
