Losing hair?

All of my baby's hair fell out! He had quite a bit when he was born, now it's all wispy and peach fuzz. Has anyone else's baby lost their hair? Everyone keeps saying it was just his baby hair, but I find his little hairs on my clothes, in his rock n play, on his sleep sack, everywhere! He looks like Charlie Brown now! (

Oh yeah. Mine lost a ton in patches - and now it's growing back thick. Right now just on the top. He went from looking like Charlie Brown to looking like a marine. A marine with a bad buzz cut. Haha

Yep! Mine too! I remember as soon as I held her, I said omg look how much hair you have! And now it's all gone! Complete baldy. I'm finding hairs everywhere too! Sometimes even when I kiss her head, I get one stuck to my lip and when she's tired, she turns her head from side to side and now there's a big bald patch on the back of her head. She does have a cute little 'mullet' like tuft at the back though hahaha it's so cute!

@abbeybonita that's how my little girls hair is. It's so full and think in just that spot

My LO lost it in stages... Top first then once that grew in the sides around to the back fell out then grew back. He still has a tiny bit of original hair in the back that goes from ear to ear. It looked hilarious for a while! I thought this post was gonna be about losing our hairs... Which I am! Every time I shower I lose some. Way more than before lol.

Haha yeah mine is losing her hair also, but it's in a ring around her head so it looks like she wears goggles

My girlie lost some hair on the side of her head that she prefers to sleep on. My little baldy. I just give her a small comb over because the rest of her hair is pretty long.

My DD has lost almost everything on the top, she just has the old man 'horse-shoe' around the sides. Poor girl!

My LO has lost some at the back, leaving him a little bald spot where he sleeps - it's still long at the nape of his neck though which has given him a real classy mullet look!

@babystarin - I'm also losing hair like crazy... I swear I'm losing more than the dog these days!

My niece and nephew were both born with lots of dark hair, then lost it all and it grew in blond. My LO was born pretty much bald, and her hair hasn't really fallen out much. I am curious how many of the babies loosing hair now we're born early. That might be a factor, like lanugo on the body that sheds in the later weeks. Both my niece and nephew were early and my LO was born at 41+ weeks.

@babystarin and @Melodie001 I thought maybe everyone was exaggerating about post-pregnancy hair loss until about a week ago when I started shedding like crazy!

My LO only has the bald patch where her head from sleeping.  She has a little mullet going on in the back and a few whispies on top.  Enough, to know she has hair, but not so much that it really looks like hair. My son was the same way & we nicknamed him 'Baby Ben Franklin" because he was bald on the top & only had a baby mullet from the ears down. I think both of my LOs got my husbands fine hair, while mine is a thick mess. 

I too thought this was about us moms losing our hair b/c holy cow!!  I didn't think I could lose that much & still have some on my head.  I guess its a good thing mine is so thick so I can hide the bald spots that I'm sure are there.  I don't remember this from when I had my son.

Haha, this was about our babies, but I totally get where the moms are coming from...I am losing so much hair, I'm surprised I have any left! It's so sad. I'm almost afraid to comb it because so much of it comes out. Oh well. I guess my LO and I will both be growing in some new hair. #:-S
